example.

you lower your car someone else doesnt like lowered cars, therefore your lowered car is rice

you install exhaust, someone else doesnt like the sound, therefore your car now sounds like rice

you install gullwing doors, someone else doesnt like door hinges on the roof, therefore you car is rice

you do anything to your car that would change it from stock, someone else doesnt like anything but stock, therefore your car is rice
Exactly. Many people on here are so critical of others mods. It's like that post I made last time. Rice means you're back in high school and trying to be "cool" and not the kid everyone makes fun of for being him/herself. I really hate it how so many new people give in to others criticism on this board. People need to get over the whole "rice" thing and act like adults. If you don't like something, you don't like it but stop putting people's taste down just because you don't like it. Sheesh.

"Its any person who adds tasteless modifications to a perfectly normal automobile."

adidas, you do understand that that statement is highly subjective, right? By your definition of rice, RJ's kickplates are rice and so are the LED light mods being put on the front lights of the car. You see? Subjective.

However, I'm looking for the ones that flash to the bass of my music. Some of my boys have these but I think they overpaid. If you have neons, how much did you pay and where did you buy from? Thanks in advance, Zack.
The last Jersey I lived in (which I still live in), people were rolling around with $100,000 Mercedes and BMW's....

Sir, if you think duplicating a technique used by companies as highly regarded as Bentley and Aston Martin all the way down to Infiniti and Mercedes, you are the type of people I refer to as "having no taste" The LED and kickplate mods are used in dozens of OEM applications from the highest named luxury/sports cars on the market and they stop being seen on cars around the 35k level. I put the altima coupe in the 35k level, so I contest that the kickplate and LED mods fit its bracket/style. Burton is talking about neon tubes from Walmart that flash to bass No comparison

I hope you know I own a pair of lighted kicks from RJ myself. I was just using it as an example. I never said I didn't like lighted kicks or LED lights. BTW, it's Ms. not sir.

Don't get me wrong, I understand fully and completely why people call things "rice." What I disagree with is not what they're criticizing (mostly), but what attitude comes behind that when they say it. I don't wanna argue about it or anything. I just think it's more mature to say, 'I don't like it for such and such reason' rather than saying, 'RICE!! ,' and putting someone's taste down in the process of doing that because of what the meaning of "rice" entails.

Anywho, I'm off topic, sorry.
