That car made 656RWHP and his 800hp claim should be right. Also it's obvious he atleast used the rb25 transmission and not the stock transmission(anyone who knows rb swaps know this)

The r33 rb25 also had VVT. I have yet to find the exact difference between the r33 and r34 VVT.

wel when he said STOCK drivetrain, im thinking 24o drivetrain, not RB25, i believe an RB25 would hold it, but i wouldnt recommend it, however on a stock 24o drivetrain, i dont belieive that

The Neo is a NATURALLY ASPIRATED MOTOR guys. Don't waste your time.

There is a NEO RB25DE and a NEO RB25DET.

Are you 100% on that? The only refrences to NEO's that I have ever seen were NA from R34 Skylines.

Uggg...so much nonsense in this thread (not to be condecending to anyone). The NEO is a version of the RB25DET that was used in the R34's and had VVT and some emissions stuff. Yes, it has a little bit higher rated hp out of the box, no, it's not that different. It's basically the same engine with a couple of touchoups and certainly not worth the extra money that most importers charge for it. I don't know for sure if there was an NA version of the NEO, I have never heard speak of it.

There is no RB26DETT NEO for those who are still confused.

I've only ever seen or heard of it as an RB25DET variation in R34's.

Also like gabossie said, it probably isn't worth the extra $$ you'd be looking to spend... you'd might as well go straight to RB26 if your gonna spend anything higher than the cost of a normal RB25

Neo RB25DET on the r34 GTT is RWD.

This is one of the really nice perks of the (R34) Neo 6.....It has SOLID lifters. It has different injectors. They are skinny plastic things. The turbo is Hitachi copy of Garrett. Compression ratio is 9 to 1. More movement in VVT than the ones on the R33. It makes about 206 kw stock. Thats pretty much the differences.
