Ok guys/girls long story short I bought a red 89 hatch, w/o checking it, with lots of rust but a healthy kae. So to replace the chassis i bought a 93 hatch with a overheated kade. So i rebuilt the ka24de, in my 93 hatch insted, and ever since then it has miss fired. Now I rebuilt it to OEM specs but with some stronger parts, original plans were to boost it after broken in. So what should I do now??? I've re-done the timing over and over, it's dead on with on the last mark on the right. Should I take off the valve cover and the front cover to check the internal timing?? I need a running car, going to start at UTI soon. I can't drive the red hat h, due to major amount of rust. I was going to part out the red hatch after I had the 93 hatch running but since I've ran into a problem that is out of my expertise, I don't know what to do with it now. So I was wondering if I should trade both of them for a running 240sx or what?? Also these are the mods on the 93 hatch:
Arp mains, rod and head studs
Cometic thicker HG
Head pressure washed and tested
King rod and main bearings
Nismo thermo
Circuit sports PU motor and transmission mounts
Spec stage 1 clutch
Godspeed rad with 2 12' e-fans
Agency power silicon rad hoses
Megan headers, down pipe and test pipe
eBay 3in piping diameter and a 4in tip
5spd swap
Circuit sports coolant over flow tank
New pistons and rings
Emissions removed
New fuel injector, 2nd injector wasn't spraying
New spark plugs, cap, rotor and wires
Thermal metal exhaust gasket
Cleaned the IACV...
That's all I can think of the top of my head. So what should I do at this point I'm running out of options... :frown:

Check compression numbers, clhck plug gap, check dizzy and cam timing and try from there, don't give up yet.

This might sound noobish but how do I figure out which cylinder is miss firing?? If it's the ecu's code, then it's saying 54 or w/e it is for everything is working fine....

Well I took the valve cover off only to find my int cam off by 2 teeth . So I fixed that now it's dead on but when I drive it, it miss fires under 2k Rpms... But idles just fine.

Nope, not any that I know of, I sprayed MAF cleaner on all vacuum lines and nothing happened... Also it runs a bit rich and I've already put in a new CTS, what could cause that?
