My truck is a Dodge 1500 and I would strongly recommend one for trailer work. The new hemis do get good mileage on the daily driving and has massive power. I have an older Dodge (95) and it has been my daily driver for the last 3.5 years. Its an SLT package so it has all the bells and whistles but also means it came with an auto. Now I drive that truck hard and push it harder then 99.9% of the people out there would and I have not had ONE problem with the transmission at all and mine supposedly is the worst for the "transmission issues".

My step dad on the other hand had 2 Fords, 1 F250 Super duty and 1 F150. Both were taken back under the lemon law, however I will say the F150 was better then the F250 in that respect. They were constantly in the shop for weird and bizzare **** that would pop up.

The problem with claiming problems like that on cars, a dodge in cali could blow up from a defect when the next truck on the assembly line went to new york and couldnt be built solider. I still say go Ford powerstroke, just make sure you get the 7.3L not the new 6.0L Diesel. They have massive turbocharged diesel power, it takes a lot to even bog them down and you should get a solid 17-19 MPG no matter what the load.

I like the titan, i have test drivin the Pathfinder Armada and was rather impressed with the engine/drive train. the interior felt on the cheap side, but so does most new cars/trucks. I like the Fords looks, and build but its expensive and under powered even with the 5.4L. Chevys are pretty much the same they have been forever, wouldnt mind a Avalanch without the body paneling. Not the bigest fan of dodge, but havent really had much experiance with them. If you are not going to be towing anything bigger then your car on a small trailer i would look at maybe a smaller truck. the new chevy colorodo is pretty nice looking, although alittle under powered. the New nissan pathfinder or xtera are mighty impresive with the 4.0L VQ engine, but there not out tell later this year.

I personly like the smaller trucks a little more because i really dont have a need for a full size truck and I like to off road alittle where a big truck isnt going to do that well.
