Don't worry, I've tried doing some searching...I think I got the right idea, but I just wanna get some input on this.

Ok, where to start... So, I have 17x9 wheels w/ +20 offset all the way around.

I wanted to run 265s' in the rear...but, Im still uncertain if that is "too much tire" for a 9 in. wheel (The only reason why I have a concern about this is because I've noticed that 265 mm = 10.433 in) . If it isn't, then im guessing I would want to go with 35 for the aspect ratio?

For the fronts though, Im looking at 245s' (maybe 235 would be better? ) w/ an aspect ratio of 40? Would this be somewhat decent? (<--- I don't why, I just had a hard time trying to find what I was looking for on rimtuck)

Other things to point out:

-I'm looking at getting Falken 452s'...I don't know if that should really matter or not, just throwing it out there just in case.

-In the future, I will eventually get coilovers and lower it just a little bit more...nothing insane though.

-If I have to run some camber, then I will.

-Sorry, no fender pulling...if I absolutely have to do a slight roll...then I'll go ahead and shoot for that.

Like, I said before, after seeing all the threads I've looked at...I think I might be on the right track. It's just, I don't want to order something that I feel uncertain about...Just wanted to double check.

Any help/input on this is appreciated. Thanks!

I like 235/40's on a 17x9 wheel... Nice subtle stretch. +20 should be fine with just a roll.

Ok, sounds good. As for the rears, should I instead just run 255/40? I think that should be good enough...

They dont look bad on this car at least

zerothread?id=472242

and, after looking at this...

zerothread?id=214409

I think I just found my answer...(but those didn't mention the offset of the wheels they had).

If you only have a set of four 17x9's, I wouldn't bother staggering. A 255 on a 9 inch is gonna look gross. Now, if you have a 9.5 inch wheel to put a 255 on, I'd say go for it.

Staggering tires with wider in the back promotes understeer anyways. Same sized tires all around promotes more neutral steering.

Its all about preference at this point.

BTW... I have Falken 452's as well. They run wider than some other brands. Instead of being slightly stretched, it would probably fit square on a 9 inch wheel. My 225's are oversquare on my 8.5's... Fat boy tires...
