Yep.

Yep.

I'm not going to waste time recommending any vehicle to you but I will offer you some free advice, not that you'll ever listen or take it.

Calculate your actual gas mileage. (whining that your parents fill it every week is stupid). Once you calculate the gas mileage, simply compare it the average is for that car. If your gas mileage is lower than average, then it could be something with the car, like low air pressure, running rich, etc. But more likely, it is due to your poor driving habits. You likely drive it too aggressively. Before you lie to us and proclaim yourself a great driver, keep in mind you've already shared with us your inability to drive. Remember wrecking the J30 while showing off? Remember tearing up a state park in that SUV?

The likely reason your dad gets better mileage than you in what is a bigger heavier thirstier vehicle is because he drives it better than you drive your car.

You should pretty much STFU, and be grateful you got a free vehicle including gas, insurance, maintenance from your parents. You'd be walking if you were my kid after your idiocy with that J30. You fail.

Get a job, quit making your parents buy you s*** you don't deserve
AGREED.

Note he didn't actually say anything about mileage, just that it is a pain for him to have to fill it up every week, while his dad goes 2 weeks...

ever think the tank size might be different?

Honestly, who b****es about having to fill up every week using someone else's money, driving a car that someone else bought for them?

I'm locking this thread. Awful Nala... just awful.

Mods/admins- feel free to unlock if you want Nala to get hammered more, but reading this is just depressing.

Tight end or wide receiver? j/k

To sum up Nala's thought about having his parents replace a perfectly good free car, maintained insured and even gassed for free: FAIL

Yeah, you're definitely not going to get better mileage out of those. They'll take regular, which is nice, but you really won't be saving much, if any, from the price difference.

Get a car-based SUV. You'll get all the ride height and size and crap you're looking for without the awful mileage. Read: Honda Pilot. I think I said that in the last thread too.

The Xterra is truck based, but might work too. The Rogue wouldn't be half bad for this case either.

Of course, there's always the Subaru Forester, which is far and away the best of the bunch, IMO.

Dude, your continued habit of posting new topics here knowing that you'll be flamed for it just reinforces my opinion of you. That is, you are an attention whore with masochistic tendencies... and to think I actually felt sorry for you for the abuse you got on the Prom Date thread.

I'm not going to feed your sickness anymore.

Good Day.

At $3.00/gallon, you can buy 8,333.33 gallons of fuel for $25,000.00. Kwitcherb****in'

And even if you're only getting 15mpg, you can still go 125,000 miles.

Your tired of spending so much money on gas so your going to drop $25K on a new vehicle?

How are you parents so rich, but so stupid

Figure out the REAL cost of buying a new vehicle. Take into account all taxes and fees. as well as costs involved in selling your old car (advertising, and checks you need to perform from car facts to emission inspections, ect...)

Now, figure out an approximate annual mileage. Multiply annual mileage by the cost of a gallon of what ever octane the car needs divided by the MPG of the car, do that for new your new car, and for the old car then subtract the two. Multiply by the number of years you expect to keep the car (keep in mind how fast your wreck or get bored of cars and be real)

Bottom line... You are moving to another SUV and gains in MPG are VERY likely to be NO WHERE NEAR the cost of purchasing another vehicle.

Also...Nissan does NOT require Premium. My parents 02' pathy has been fed a diet of regular for the past 50k miles and it runs quite well.So strike 15, 089 against Nala.

Exactly! Taxes on a 25k vehical will be close to $1500.

Who cares if his parents want to spend money on his car? Its their money and its their kid. Euck it!
