ok guys i just worked alot of overtime and coming up next week im gonna have 1200 exactly to blow on the car.

Im at a loss right now cause I dont know what I should do next to my vehicle.

If you guys would like to give me opinions on what you think is good for the car please feel free.

Ive got rb20 s13 and this is what I have as far as mods and problemslsdgreddy turbo timertach and speedo workwalbro 255 fuel pumppinched down pipepower steeringdented front left fender

so i guess I just want to get the most for my money. whether it be power, handling, or looks. please give me some ideas.

if you dont have upgraded suspension yet i dont think there is much of a choice, how can you run that car on stock suspension? lol its a boat

thats what I was thinking cause i hate the bodyroll in this car but I want the new tein super drift damper but there 1600.....

what do you plan on using your car for? because even though tien makes GREAT street performance suspension, they don't offer ANY competition spec suspension. just keep that in mind!

Well, if you are having bad traction issues then bet yourself an LSD diff....

I would get Megan Racing Coilovers. Under $900 shipped I beleive.

Then I would get a B&M short shifter for around $300 total. Or you could get that fender taken care of for less than that.

Another idea would be a new intake manifold, piping and FMIC... You could get all that done for $1200 or less.

so which new intake mani and fmic could i get? and if i got a fmic wouldnt I lose power without a boost contoller? a friend of mine with a sr20 lost power through his front mount before he got a boost contoller....

also what about fixing my fender and repainting the car...could it be done with 1200...or would I need a little more

get fmic, boost controller, and some used coilovers or new shocks and springs. if you go shocks and springs you could get ur fender replaced too. Also i have fenders if you want. do you have the 180sx front end or s13 conversion?

so which boost controller and fmic+piping could i get and still have money for coilovers?

This thread has a bunch of stuff about RB20 manifolds. Don't see any performance #'s or dyno tests...

I posted in there too... Some friends of mine own Boost Flow Technologies. They are using my 20 as a mock up for a new intake manifold.. hoping to have a finished product within a month or two. They will also be selling intercooler hard piping, downpipes, etc...

I got my Front Mount from Megan. Pretty low price.

I don't really know anything about Boost controllers yet.

I don't think you will be able to do FMIC/Piping AND Coilovers unless you get most of it used.

You could get Hybrid FMIC and piping, there are a variety of boost controllers for resonable price, and just check out ebay for used coilovers.
