need some help

i have an s14 sr20 in a 93 240 and my problem is i bought a slave cylinder for 93 240 and it seems that the push rod for it is not long enough i bleed it and push down on the pedal and the plugger comes out of the bore and just pours brake fluid all over the place and i dont what to do is there another slave cylinder i can use or what this is the only thing i need to drive the thing

I have bad news for you, the S14 SR20DET slave cylinder is the same for a US S13 and S14. So the cylinder you bought is the correct one.

I barely understand what you said your problem is, but you bleed the cylinder while it is pushing on the clutch fork. If there is no fork present to push back on the pushrod then of course the rod will pop out.

did you break your clutch fork pivot bolt?

i found a post where so guy was have the same problem and he used a DSM push rod so i tried it and it worked, so thanks
