alright so i'm finishing up my redtop sr swap and i'm trying to start the thing, i've tested it and found out that i'm not getting and fuel or spark... the coil packs still seem to be good, but i used a multimeter on the plugs that go to the coil packs and i dont think im gettin any power to them, i checked my main ignition wiring and my ignitor chip, both seem good.. the fuel pump is working i'm getting fuel to the fuel rail but its not going through the injectors, so i'm not sure if the injectors are just seized up or something, but i also used a multimeter on the plugs to the injectors and again there's no power, so with both of those not gettin power would there be something wrong with the ecu? if anyone could help or think of something else that i'm not thinkin of i'd appreciate it

check the codes on the ECU, and then check your wiring, also try searching, lots of people have this same issue.

turn the little screw on the ECU so it is in diagnostic mode, then count the blinks.

do u have to hook up all the wire on the ecu for the obd or just the basic wiring to make it run?

how will the ECU know that things are wrong unless they are connected, and what would be the point of checking for codes when nothing is hooked up, it would probubly throw a bunch of codes saying all the sensors you dont have hooked up have failed.

Your "basic wiring" to get the car running pretty much includes anything relating to emissions and engine control.
