Need quick answer...transmission difference

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

My question is...are the transmission's the same for the sohc and dohc ka's? And how can I tell a difference between the two trannys? I know when I go to buy a clutch, it says there are one's for the sohc and ones for the dohc so is that b/c the motor is different or just the trannys? Sorry for all the ?'s, just trying to get some info quick and I couldn't find anything through the search.

btw, I've got a 91 (dohc)
