if you want to turn up the boost why not just get a manual boost controller?

Ummmm... Disconnect the boost line from the wastegate. Infinite boost till something blows up in 1.2 second.

*edit: spell check Disconnect

k guys, lets be serious here. we are the biggest nissan community in the world, we cant let a single honda beat us. just remember, this is the sr20 forums, and our motors sure do pull a premium 2 weeks before race wars.

you need to un hook the wastegate completley. you will get just enough boost to kick his a**. just dont drop your floor pan out, and be carefull, you might endanger your manifold.

If he's stock and beats you then somethings wrong there. Hondas have poor torque curves. Plus a 08 civic is about 3000lbs stock where you should only be at about 2500lbs.08 civic maby 200 crank hp @3000lbsA SR20deT is 200hp @ about 2300-2700lbs.

You should take him @ stock boost if you can hook! Unless you have a open diff then your screwed no mater how much boost you run.

the wastegate, you need to unplug it, its the vacuum line that attaches to your turbo, just un hook that, your engine might not last, but it will be WAYYY faster then his car.

Actually Ive had the wastegate line blow before. Its really fast till about 3000 RPMS, then it hits fuel cut. Which is not so fast.

LMAO LMAO LOL @ CIVIC SI.I beat him,08 honda civic si, so bad a**. I was leading the whole way.but is kinda of an unfair race because the driver is a true ricer. His tires were bald, 2nd gear grins, a 3000 dollar body kit, obessed with his lil torqueless vtec. and most of all, he is a poser saying he know every thing about cars and duct taping led lights under the car is cool.

We took off , and i started to pull away really hard.. since 1st gear. we got pass 1/4 mile at least cuz we went to 100 mph than stoped. He was way behind.... he was tiny in my rear view mirror.

This goes out to all the sr20 owners! WE CAN SMOKE CIVIC SI NO PROBLEM

My car specs13 sr20det @stock boost, 3'' fmic, koyo rad, nismo mount, open diff.

I ran my s2000 (240hp) against my bros s13 with a sr on 7psi fmic, 3in turbo back and he pulled away like a mofo. So if you cant beat a civic that is sad.

No he is not stripped and yes he has a r32 diff. And whats funny is hes not the best driver either. My buddies have ran mid 13s on stock sr's. You just need to learn how to drive them.

Omfg I had to road test the car for a used car safety check. It took for ever to hit red line in first then shift to second. Vtec screaming for no reason.
