once again 4"-5" exhaust on a Maxima is insane...read some of the responses above and the details about the cars the piping is on...then ask yourself why you would put the same size pipes on a Maxima that you want to make about 400-500HP that go on a built LS1 or an 850HP EVO....???????

Zac, if I were you, id kick around topics like this in the advanced build forums...you run the chance that people there will have done everything you are wanting to do and can help you better then in a general discussion forum

hell my 1750whp camaro only had 3" exhaust. didnt need more then that. had cats and mufflers fully street legal. i did 3" cat to 2.5 on my max. runs like a champ

hey guys, looking to do some mods myself. more for looks rather than performance for now. Any ideas?

drop springs, stillen ground efx kit, one piece headlights for a start. i did the jdm one piece along with the stillen lip. i also got a jdb style fiberglass hood i think it looks sick as hell. ill have to get some new pics. once the snow goes away im gonna sand it down and change it from the stock greenish black to fire engine red (to match my fire companys new ladder truck) i also lifted the spoiler 2" and did the jdm tails off ebay.
