I posted in the classifieds but got no reply so I figured I'd check here. What I need is the metal ring that holds down the inner rubber shift boot . If anyone has a parts car and can part with this please let me know. Also, I could use a right front inner fender liner.thanks

I don't know where I'd find a pic of it, but your car is a stick right? lift up the panel that surrounds your shifter (it should just lift off), and look down at the base of the shifter. You'll see a rubber boot that is being held in place by a metal ring. That metal ring will have a round hole, but be sort of square on the outside, with four holes for it to screw down to the floor. That metal ring is what I need.

If you want me to, I'll draw a picture of it and scan it. Thanks for your help.

did you get your shirt from that guy at drift expo yet? I was wondering how it came out.

sorry to hear about your tire problem, have you thought about getting some spacers? They'd give you better offset anyway, and the wider tires would look cooler. Also, sounds like its time to do the five-lug swap since you gotta spend money anyway.

hey brandon, if you think we can, we can hack up the old auto trans shifter and make one from that. Should just be as simple as cutting the circle out. you think we can do that?

I do have some 15 inch maxima wheels and tires I could sell cheap. THey don't look great, but with a coat of paint, who knows. Also, if my father in law has not hauled it off, whats left of my parts car still has the rear end under it so I may have half of the five lug conversion. Let me check with him and I'll let you know.

If that would be easiest yea it wouldn't be a problem. Is it the same piece with just a different cut out for manual or auto?

The car is still there, I talked to my father in law and asked him not to have it crushed yet. I'll have to remove the stuff you want from the car but thats not a problem.

I guess you can make me an offer on it, just let me know if you want the wheels and tires or not. Like I said the wheels are not pretty but they'll get you rolling and maybe you can paint them and they'll look better. two of the tires are brand new and two are about half gone. They're michelins and I think they are pretty expensive tires.

maybe you can get new parts for the front for cheap.

I can probably bring everything up to greenville one weekend, I need to go see Brandons place for once anyway, since he comes down here so much.

okay so the hub that the dealer put on is a bad hub... lol it'll get me where i need to go, but not for long. I dont want to hassle with them any more. So I'm prolly just going to go ahead with the 5-lug conversion. I'm still researching what I'm going to need. I'm getting like 50 different answer lol. So far I know that I will need the rims (dont car if they are ugly as long as they're driveable)4-hubs4-rotorsfront spindlesebrake assembly

(there may be more but like I said I'm still researching)

Do you think that I could maybe get them in a week or two and make payments to you? I dont know how much you want for all those parts. I would really like to get them in the next couple of weeks but due to all this stuff with tires/hub/ticket at work I'm strapped for cash at the moment. I can, however, send you like 100-150 every week/every other week until I pay it off. (either western union, money order or paypay) It's up to you. That's prolly the only way I am going to be able to get it from you at this moment. Let me know what's up. you can email me or reply back here. i would really appreciate it

that sounds good. As long as you give me some time to get over to the shop and remove that stuff, cause I've been working a lot and time has been a bit of a luxury when I get it. As far as a price, do you think $250 is decent for the rear hub and brake pieces and the wheels and tires? I looked on ebay and the cheapest I could find just the rear hubs was $180. I don't want to overcharge anybody.

Just let me know if that sounds reasonable and I'll bring the stuff up one weekend soon.

I'm almost always up for driving... Unless I've had a few drinks. Then its a no no.

I guess the next time I'm heading to GA will be towards Christmas. I'll be a little lean until around next payday.

I'm always running lean ever since Lily was born... I'm probably going to go see you up there sometime soon. I may need to deliver some parts so that will be a good excuse, not that I needed one.

yea just let me know i found a couple of small parts i need too

i need the front ball-joint from each side w/ lower control arms & stult bolts.

i did some research and the only thing thats a b*tch is the front. you have to have hubs, spindes, balljoints, lca and stut bolts. you have to drill the strut for a larger strut bolt. but all well, it'll be worth it...

250 sounds good. i could prolly get up 50-100 bucks to give to you when you bring them or however that works out. and then send you the rest by money order.

thanks let me know

$250 includes4 wheels and tiresrear hubse-brake assembly

I don't have front hubs.

you're welcome to scrounge around on the front end, I have not removed everything. The struts are still there, I just sold the hub assemblies, spindles and brake rotors. I won't charge anything as long as I don't have to remove it.

If you change your mind about the wheels and tires I can knock off some on the price.

how far are you from greenville? i might take a trip down there and see what i need off of it. is it cool to make payments on it all? i was looking at getting some attain hubs for the front b/c they are DIRECT bolt it and i wouldnt need the bolt and I wouldnt have to drill the hole any bigger. How is the interior in it? Is the motor still in it Stephen (240kid) is looking at buying a motor, you could prolly sell it to him lol..

when are you gonna junk it?

This thing is picked clean. the only parts left on it worth using is the rearend. I took the entire drivetrain for my car along with everything under the hood. The interior was partially destroyed, partially picked through by the time I got there, and the rest is not much use to anyone. I do have a right door and a trunklid, though. I sold a bunch of miscellaneous crap off of it to pay myself back for it, so whenever it goes to the crusher, there won't be much to crush. The previous owner gave them a headstart on that when he went sideways into a concrete pipe.

I'll take payments as long as I can get like a 100 bucks up front. just give me some time to remove the stuff from the rearend.

So do you definitely want the rear hubs and wheels?
