I like that idea, looks good definitely a different grille set up than the rest of them out there.

As far as the mounting......I have no idea but sure someoneee will chime and post you some recommendations.

I put my galvanized mesh on the inside of the grille using black zip ties. I got the idea from Versa Madness. Here's his look with pictures:zerothread?id=331470

Doesn't make the car look different but I was looking for bug and road debris protection for the radiator, not appearance. If all you're looking for is protection, you could mount yours the same way.

If you are looking to mount it for the "look" you can use the zip ties and mount the mesh to the outside, but I don't know that the edges will look very refined.

ew...

srellim243's has a much cleaner look.

by you putting the mesh over the grill...idk it just doesn't look right.

i was looking at the picture again and it could be that the mesh is a dark gray?also the chrome around the mesh might be throwing off the tone of the car..

im not really digging it too..those are actually 1/4" perforated stainless steel sprayed on with flat black. i dont like the sharpy edges. if i do decide to put it on, i'll put a strip of metal on the outside to get that flat, straight edge.

I haven't pulled the grill off before so this might not be possible but I'll throw it out there and maybe someone else will know...

Is there a way to get it behind the chrome but in front of the grill? It might even be more secure if you could.I think that would look much cleaner than putting a metal strip cross the bottom edge.

You could use a dremel tool or another cutting device to remove the portion of the grill behind your new mesh but then leave mounting "tabs" in the corners where needed and attach with small screws or pop rivets. The heads could be painted black as well for a clean look.
