I cleaned connectors and I tightened the fuel clamps and It did start fine but then I got about 1oo yards and got on the gas a bit and she just died and did not want to start again. I waited a few minutes and then she started and died just as quickly as the first time. Now she wont start at all. She's crankin' but no fire. The connectors I cleaned were the coolant temp sensor and the ptu sensor could I have not done something properly? Please help. thank you.

Have you checked that the CAS is actually operating correctly and do a power balance test? You could also have a clogged fuel filter, or a bad fuel temp sensor.

Ran the codes and it came back saying that the coolant temp sensor is reading 350 degrees. The engine was shutting itself down thinking it was over heating. New sensor now its all good.

Now that the car starts and runs it is having a bad sputter on the left bank exhaust, what could that be? On low rpms it stutters as well until you get over 2k then its ok. On idle it is sputtering every 6-10 seconds or so.

Could be a faulty fuel injector, try doing a power balance test by pulling each of the coil pack connectors while the engine is idling. Each time you pull one it should drop the idle noticeably. If one of them doesn't change the idle, that cylinder has a miss. Also check for codes

What color smoke?

Did a power balance test and all cylinders are firing. No codes. White smoke only during start up. Not just a little white smoke a whole bunch. Also on another topic my engine sounds like this as well.

Any input on this?

Try reading thru this thread about the white smoke:

white-smoke-at-start-up-t371748.html

That sounds terrible lol but I dont think it's a rod knock, which sounds like this:

Sounds more like bad lifter tick or worn vtc springs

My VG30de sounded like that, It was Belt slap from the tensioner failing.

Have you ohm tested your injectors? If one is really high, it will cause a sputter, but still run.

Do a leak down test to check condition. This will eliminate head gasket, valves, and so on. Also, you can check your coolant while the car is running. If you have a continuous stream of bubbles, could be head gasket. Sporadic bubbles, usually nothing.

Thanks for the tips. I will try and Ohm test on the injectors and also Clean the MAF. See what I get. I am going to get a tune up. New plugs and PVC valves. Also oil change with some BG MOA. Hopefully that does the trick. I know I am in need of a timing belt but thats way out of my budget right now.
