I own a 1990 300ZX TwinTurbo(RHD) which has approx 125000 Kilometers on car. A few weeks ago I had a problem where the car would have a rough idle, no power, but would still run and drive and then eventually go away, it happened approx 4-6 times and lasted at longest 200kilometers of driving. I cleaned the MAF sensor and havnt had that problem since, The car runs Great, awesome power, perfect idle, beautiful start ups just a pleasure to drive but problem. The car is emitting white smoke after sitting for 8-12 hours, only at start up and lasts maybe 5-10 minutes or untill warmed up. I can stop after that and restart with 0 smoke emitted and like said zero problems other than that. I recently had a complete timing belt, fluids, spark plugs, the whole works done to the vehicle by the best shop in town costing a small fortune. I checked the coolant and its completely full with perfect colour. The oil has lost a little(1/4) but Im due for an oil change and the colour is right. Pulled some plugs no oil on them but they had a little bit of brown deposits which i was told is good/normal? So my issue is mysterious brief white smoke at cold start ups or any start up after sitting for a period? Any good ideas on whats going on? It doesnt seem like condinsation which a normal thing at start up it is white smoke and abnormal.
