Picked up an S14 SR in person from a local importer.

Tag on engine said 9.5 bar on every cylinder. That's only 139 PSI. FSM states standard is 156 PSI. I didn't realize numbers were that low since tag only stated 9.5 with no units.

****Is this something to worry about? I do not plan to rebuild.****

As long as one cylinder doesnt differ from the other ones then the engine is fine. They most likely tested the compression when the engine was cold. Thats why the number are a little low.

Had it restested by a shop and numbers are even lower. 125 across the board, with 120 in cylinder 3. Added oil, and compression shot up to 150.

DO NOT BUY FROM JDM ENGINE DEPOT IN NJ! Nothing but troubles.

Standard 156psi, min 128psi. Max difference between cylinder 14psi.

I am fairly certain they just did the test wrong to begin with.

Cold compression before startup my motor had 120 135 110 and 125, that was 65,000 miles ago, now it has 150 across the board and I havnt rebuilt. If the motor is cold, especially if its been sitting for quite a while, then the rings are not seated properly, its most likely fine, get the motor running and retest when its warm and the throttle is wide open.
