hello every one ,i have an s13 and it used to have a ka-t but, i broke itand now,im actually looking for an engine swap.i planned putting an rb 25 on it so, i asked 1 of my freind who worked on it about the rb25 and he told me it breaksdown quickly after 190 whp only!!!!! so, is that true ?(mind that he had a z32 fuel pump + stock fuel rale + stock injectors )and if its true would the problem go if i changed these parts mentioned?gongrats

all you have to do is search on here and there are plenty of us that are running way more than 190hp.

zerothread/135400 ... I have my doubts about your friend working on a rb25 if thats the response you got. If your seriously planning on this swap i would suggest you use the search function and read the stickies.

Sounds like your friend works on HONDUHS.

http://www.skylinegts.co.uk/R33_spec.htmThis is the specs for the RB25DET. What your friend is sayin is that if you build this motor anymore than stock then your screwed. You need to go kick this guy in his nuts and tell him to think before he speaks. With exhaust, upgraded turbine, light boost-up tune you can easily hit around the 300 whp mark. With internals and bigger turbo and injectors the skys the limit. ive seen RB25's upwards of 1100whp. In fact if you wana see a nasty RB25 go to Project GTST.com and see one sick *** RB25DET.

Do your research before you think about doing this. Not one of those swaps for a first timer.
