i get what you're saying but its synchronous... not progressive... progressives are the ones with different sized barrels... and technically on yours there is no primary or secondary... they work at the same time all the time (thus the name synchronous)

and yes... if both sides are synchronized properly it will run MUCH better... took me a while to dial in
I thought the barrel that has the electric choke and idle jet's and the barrel that open's before the other does made it the primary barrel? I was under the understanding every carburetor that had more than one barrel had a primary and secondary barrel.

Yeah lots of people try to return that type of FPR because they are never correct.
Yeah after buying it and reading alot of very unhappr reviews about it i decided to remove it and now my fuel pressure is correct. Im still going to get a better one and fuel pump but i got my all forged 383 camaro im finishing up right now instead.

True on a progressive carburetor such as a Weber DGxx progressive models, but Webers such as the DCOE and IDx's do not.

No its not. The progressive webbers carry different sizes of barrels example the 32/36. The 34/34 and 38/38 are not. They're synchronous.

my 38 DGES is synchronous as well... has idle jets on both sides (thus the 2 screws on the baseplate) and both sides do the same thing at all times
