Need Help Identifying Wires Ka24e

So I need Help in identifying where these 2 wires go.
One is Attached on a bolt right below the valve cover and the other one is attached to what I believe my temperature air sensor, and my ECU also says code 41 which is the sensor.



In this 2nd picture it looks like the air temp sensor might plug into an extra unused wire near the maf (highlighted in the green circle)
Is this correct? and where does the wire that connect near valve cover lead too?

Thos aren't the greatest pictures, so it is tough to tell what I am looking at, but the top one looks like one of the harness grounds, and should go to the wiring harness. The bottom one is the intake air temp sensor, which should also go to the harness, but I cannot say diffinitively that the wire you have is the right one.

Then look up the wiring diagram for the Intake air temp sensor. Check the continiuity of that wire between the cut end and the main plug on the ECU. That will tell you if it is indeed the wire for the IAT sensor.
