Need help finding a '94 part or suggestions for a fix

Hi everyone! I am new to the forum. I became the owner of a 1994 240SX convertible in April of this year. It has 114,000 miles and is great shape. My mother-in-law bought it used in 1996. She no longer drove it so she sold it to me. I will post pictures in the near future Here is the problem. The left rear window. There are plastic guides that keep the window in the track so that it fits into the convertable top. All of the plastic guides have broken. I cannot get replacement parts from Nissan because they are no longer made I have called several salvage places in my town to see if anyone can find me the part. It has been over a week and nothing! I cannot enjoy my car until this is fixed. Does anyone have any suggestions? Ideas?

You'll have to either pull the window out and get creative, or find someone who has a window with the guides intact (usually on here or Ebay).

For the end guide that wraps around, people have put it back together and then reinforced the outside with a small piece of sheet metal. For the other guides that look kind of like a hollow 4-leaf clover, there is a part sold under the Dorman HELP! brand which is a window guide for some other car... you can drill out the existing vert window guide and put that one in instead. Someone else will have to pipe up with the part number - I don't have it any more.

I think AutoZone carries that part in stock or could order it. There is a guy parting out his vert. He has thread on here. Forgot to get ID. Otay. Went back and got it: creater is NIAvert. Hope this help's.
