how can we not be biased?all three of those choices (I won't include the bikes cuz I don't know a thing about 'em) are great. RX7 is a bada$$ car, but from what I hear it basicly needs a motor rebuild after like 60k mi. My buddy has an MR2 and it is one tight little car, I love it (tho I don't know much about it). but the s13 with an RB25 takes the cake cuz . . . dayum that would hot!

the rx- has bad reliabilty, only when modded and not taking care of it. i used to have a 2nd gen one. i just love the looks of the rx-7 so much. yea mr2's can be crazy fast, a friend of mine used to have one but he wrecked it, so i wanted to get one. the s13 with the rb25 would be more than sweet. theres just so many choices. bikes are just pure fun and speed. so i dunno let me wait a bit longer and see what everyone else has to say

oh my hyundai is perfect, it gets pretty damn good gas mileage i get 24-26mpg. and since its just reached 90k, i pretty much replaced everything on it. hyundais arent as bad as ppl put them out to be. there was a recent study showing that, hyundai reliabilty is tied with honda at 2nd place behind the number 1 toyota. if your interested krazy im selling. and plus its different from all the other honda boys.

i love the mid ship engine of the mr2. deff one of my fav cars

so how does the tiburon hold up? i mean is it pure crap or a decent little car? i am seriously considering one cause they are cheap and pretty nice power.

they are light and not crap at all, and ill be 100% honest with you, i did race it every now and again. it can deff hold its own. which reminds me i did beat a 240 with intake and exhaust. dont know how much hp that 240 (2nd gen) put out, but i did win. i take care of my vehicles though, used royal purple oil for 95% of its life, 2nd owner and so on, let me know if u want more info on it.

what do Tiburon's run anyway? They have a V6, right? There was a pretty sweet looking one at the LA auto show in January. Almost made me want one... almost :P

I am not looking to buy a Tiburon, I am just saying they can look pretty decent for a Hyundai! :)

Is yours a V6 though? Or were they 4 bangers in 97? Just curious...

only the new 2003+ have V6. i heard from a friend who works for hyundai who told me that for 2005 or 2006, they will be coming out with a redesigned tiburon that will be turboed. cant wait, hah might get one then

damn mines a 97. the 5 speeds are just as good as the automatics reliability wise. the gear shifter takes some getting used to, but i would deffinately recommend the 5 speed over auto, the auto is just horrible. my mileage is 92k and has brand new transmission with new stock clutch and flywheel (maybe seen 400 miles)

I say the FD. Mr2's are cool too. I know this is a 240 message board but believe me if I could afford it I would definatly have an FD or maybe the Mr2 turbo over my s14. S13's are a dime a dozen and people say they are becoming the next civic, the FD definatly has more class

yea that was my main concern sixxdeuce, they are becoming more and more popular.

krazy, when i got a new clutch put in, the transmission guy suggested getting a new transmission because the gears wernt lookin to good and coulb break. so i got everything replaced.

damn it 240's are not civics. i very much dislike this statement.mighty, this is what im scared of a car with 92k should not need a new transmission IMO. how much was the new transmission?

i did get a complete check up on the engine and make sure everything is running fine. and it is. just got a recent tune up, detailed (deffinately one of the cleanest cars around) hah sorry if it sounds like im throwing a sales pitch or something. the faster i sell my car the faster i get a bike or maybe an fd3s or sw20. everything is working condition and it will deffinately last
