first of all you shouldn't have opened hydraulic's, you shoudl have unbolted the slave fomr the trans and not lost any fluid or introduced any iar, but apparently you did so....

when you bled the clutch, did you belld the remote bleeder ont he passanger fender as well as the one at the slave? if not, go do that, if so, you ahve a bad master or slave ro both, they should be replaced as a pair, sometimes old hydraulic seals can't handle the additional pressure of a new heavier pressure plate

you didn't have to replace the slave...unless it was bad

you said this started after ahanging the clutch not the slave, chances are the master won't be far behind it

I just always heard it was good thought to replace the slave when you did the clutch. Well the petal is good now that i bled it, but i belive i had some installation issues because the clutch is not disengageing, i belive i have a problem with the clutch fork, so tomorrow im going to tear it back down.

pedal not petal (hint: a petal is a part of a flower)

it's never a bad idea to replace old parts but generally the slave and master get replaced at the same time

as for your release issue, when you say it won't release this means you can't get the car in gear when running? or you mean you just slip the clutch? sometimes it helps after bleeding, to do one last bleed where you crack the valve at the slave while compressing the piston, then close the bleader and the pedal will self adjust the slave

The pedal is firm, yet when the car is running, you cant get her in gear. Thanks for the spelling corrections, although you got the point.

make sure the pedal is adjusted properly for clearance before you have to disassemble everything.
