driving a 91 coupe 240sxi have 300zx calipers up front, stock rear.looking for some rims 17/18 R How much should i be looking to pay. i'm not rich but i need some wheels and i gotta pay.ATM i got 300 zx wheels up front on 5 lug ... got 5 lugs for the rear but i need wheels before i can put it on.i'm just dragging my car. can give 2 hoots about drifting.(lies)i'm not pushing awesome hp so usabilty vs looks isn't an issue but i do want a staggered set. i'm guessing 7.5-8 in front 8-9 in back ...Black is the color i want.Pattern im looking for is no mesh no spoke, i just like a 5 star pattern or something of that nature.I like deepdish rims and rims that have the outer part painted another color so u see a ring around when you driving.. i think they tenzo's. i only see those in like mesh patterns not star. can i get a couple links to some sites so i can buy myself a pair.

oh question on offset. i have stock suspension and i guess it's stupid to buy wheels before i change it out but o well, i really need some wheels. wanna get the stock steals off in the back and swap to 5 lug. anyways what offset should i be looking at. I personally like wheels poking out in the back. i don't really care for flush but it is nice. would i need a high or low offset? i see rims i like and wanna buy but i don't wanna get something and find out i'm F'd cause they don't clear my calipers or my stock suspension.. and i don't wanna encounter problems when i upgrade to some tein coilovers in the future.. so whats a good set to go with?Btw (i don't wanna do anything rolling or fender mods of the sort.)

i should also note i wanna run some wide tires in the back.. WIDE. so i guess it will have to stick out in back, please throw me some suggestions and links to sites.. i'm ready to buy been holding off for a year and now it's time.I'll post pics of car later when i get my camera back. Gf been hogging it.

There are prolly thousands of wheels that fit your criteria. You'll have to do some more research to narrow down your options.

If you havent consider Mustang wheels, maybe you should. Good prices and nice fitments. Look here for true OEM wheels or here for some replicas that come in a larger selection of sizes.

well with the sizes i listed what offsets should i be looking for that will work with stock suspension and then upgraded suspension without doing any fender rolling or whatnot?

when lowering your car, I'd definitely recommend rolling your fenders, regardless of offset. It isn't that hard really..

second, since you said you wanted a 17/18 stagger... I guess you're looking for NEW wheels then.

Before even asking what specific sizes you want, most important thing is you budget. what is you budget? (since you mentioned Tenzo, I guess it isn't that much?)

just search the size of rim on ebay and you find lots for cheap.

For wheels or wheels and tires?

Look for the early 350Z forged wheels, they're 6 spoke, staggered 18x8 & 8.5 with "decent offsets". You should be able to pick up a set with no tires for less than $800. Even cheaper if you shop around and will accept a little curb rash.

so i'm gathering these offsets..

offset in front should be round 25?offset in rear should be 15-20?

what backspacing should i be looking at 4.25?http://www.az240sx.org/faq.htmlhelped me a lil

trying to narrow down my search. just need a little guidance.what tire sizes should i be looking at for front and rear?relatively safe sizes.. not to the limit

At the spl website i using their5Zigen FN01R-C 17x8 and 5Zigen FN01R-C 17x9 as a reference and i guess the sizes i would want is5X114 +25off on the front 8inchand5X114 +15 on the rear 9inchi kinda like these tires a lot but i see 5zigen on a lot of cars.. kind of want some close but diff. the black polish is OMFG hot.

dude... why don't you just step it up some and do a 9/10 stagger? They're more common nowadays with the 17's. FN's can be had for around 1500 w/ tires. RBmotoring.com has a lot of wheels, used and refinished that can be had for around that price, give or take a couple hundred. Also, I've seen group buys for work's 1-pc line sell for around that price as well. Need cheap tires? get Federals.

ok rims of choice in order of want. I did some searching at wheelwarehouse and found a few rims i'd like to have.I just want the best fit/ best price i can get for any of these and i shall buy.. if some one can help me find some info on certain ones i would appreciate it.

axiswheels.com/wheels.php?id=super_hiro( i want these wheels but i don't see them in a staggered size being 18in only option avail is 8.5 in 18s, i don't think that should be a problem though not being staggered, the price is kinda high for me, i really like them but i can not find a offset, would these fit, any places selling them cheaper or na? anything like these in another brand more affordable with an offset i can use?)

http://wheelstudio.com/catalog...79320h ... m/....aspx( would these be good ? i like them a lot also, can't find a place selling them at a decent price, and some sites ell them a lot cheaper but no staggered option)

http://www.wheelwarehouse.com/....aspx(i like these can't seem to find in bigger sizes ex: more then 7.5)

Basically these the rims i looking for.Black with a colored or shiny silver ring pinstriping.or a good bronze with just a silver pinstriping no color.

i'd prefer a black with orange outer ring, thats like what i want.

just need to find some wheels. any help would be appreciated.

http://www.wheelwarehouse.com/....aspxjust found thesethey would work but not so thrilled about them for the price.i fap to the axis ones.

http://www.wheelwarehouse.com/....aspxi love these but 2 big pfft

http://www.wheelwarehouse.com/....aspxonly if they were 18 in .. these i love also.
