A buddy of mine is going to Japan for Christmas and I was hoping to take the opportunity to pick up some OEM parts for my SII RB25. I'm not going crazy with stupid things, just niggling things that tend to break. Here's the list I need some help with:

OEM powersteering pump (I'll probably try and get one from Venus Auto but I'd at least like to know that I'm getting the right one)OEM starter (I know, I know, I can rebuild the one I have when/if it goes out on me)OEM alternator (ditto)Coolant temperature sensor (not the one for the temp. gauge, the one the ECU reads to adjust the mixture)The S-shaped hose that goes from the pass. side valve cover to the intake manifold and the grommet in the valve cover (mine's torn)

I know some of you have working versions of the Nissan F.A.S.T. program and I'd really appreciate any help you can offer. The car's been off the road for about 5 weeks now due to overheating issues that are probably due to a blown HG after a heater hose blew and blasted all the coolant over the highway one night. I'm still trying to find someone to leakdown test it for me.

Yes, I am well aware of that thread but it does not contain the info I am looking for. Mods feel free to move this thread to the thread linked above if you feel it would be more appropriate.

PS: Why I gotta be a grasshoppa??

do you have AIM? if you do, IM me on AIM, my screen name is "integra7". I can help you out with the part numbers, but they are different depending on the year of your motor.

Is the series II from an R33 or R34? I can get the numbers but have to know the classification. Can't remember if the R33 had 2 series of engines or not. Even if they do, my R33 still only comes up with the Rb25det

My RB25 is a very late series II motor. It's probably one of the last ones before they switched to the NEO motor as it uses the NEO style cam angle sensor. Unfortunately I don't know the exact year because I didn't purchase the whole clip, just the motorset. I think the motor I got was actually upgraded a bit by some tuning house in Japan named "Zenitani." I tried a google search and came up empty so I'm not sure. I'd appreciate any help you could give me. I don't have AIM, unfortunately
