I want to know of rims off of an fx35 wud fit on my 98 qx4 better than rims off of a qx56. Looks wise, and would both need bored out? Excuse my spelling please.

Just ordered a DVD player.

Unfortunatly, the FX wheels are designed for a 5 bolt configuration, our trucks have a 6 bolt pattern and would fit the Qx56 wheels with the bore stretched to 4" i believe

any idea how much the boring would cost? and the simplicity of the job itself? i go to a tech school and if it is a simple thing to have done i can see if either one of the two auto classes can do it or the machining lab. think the rims would even look good on the Q?

the cargo cover? those cost quite a bit especially for mine since grey was a rare colour. I see them on ebay for around $200 shipped. I dont even know if the dealer would carry those anymore!

i would keep an eye out on local classified ads, last year i remember seeing a cargo for $50, now there is one going for about $250.Also perhaps a junkyard could help,if you dont find anything there,i would look for a station wagon buy the cover and the clips/bolts

the build? do you mean upgrades? well thats entirely up to you. We all do things in different ways and different tastes thats just the joy of loving your vehicle. The first place to start though is the decision if you are planning on taking it off road or making it a street ride or as i call mine..an Urban Assault Vehicle. My aim was to feel like im some sort of tony soprano when im rollin and i feel that ive finally acheived that.

The best inspiration is http://www.cardomain.com there you can see what other qx4 owners have done and alot of small things you can do for very cheap. for example i didnt like that huge size of light area where our front turn signal and fog light are, so i tinted my turn signal and now it looks like there is nothing there...makes the q look more like the 01+ version

other people just leave their rides stock, which is perfectly fine too.....if you cant afford much your better off spending your money on preventative maintenance than anything else

I cant leave mine stock.

Im too addicted to my car, so it real depends on how you want to feel when driving.

since i started buying things i have a real hard time controlling what i buy now, so i buy everything.

God damn do i ever love my r50. you guys just have to see it in person, the pics dont do it justice. Ive got so much pride in it!

ROGER lets go man its been months since ive seen you and you live a few blocks away! hahaha i will catch you sometime i should drive by ur place maybe ill catch you out there doing something. my neighbours always gock at me because im doing something every single day.

How big is the rip? If it is just a small slit, find some vinyl at a fabric store and get some "MIghty Mend It" or other fabric glue. Put the patch on the underside so no one will see it. In fact, it is in the back, behind tint, so it won't be very noticeable.

If it is a huge rip, see if you can have a patch or panel (the full width) to get rid of the rip entirely. If you are not sure where to start, try some place that repairs tents or tarps.

If it is just a rip and retracts with ease, I would only worry about fixxing the damaged area and pocket the saved cash for somthing else.
