Hi Everyone,
So, I need some advice for installing a modification for my 2013 M37 radio. It is the stock screen with navigation and Bluetooth (I attached a photo of it). What I want to do is install a product made by Naviks. This allows the OEM unit to mirror my cell phone and I can install rear and front view cameras. Has anyone done this before? If so, what do I have to do to install it and do you have any advice? Links to the product video and product are below.
I greatly appreciate any help! Thank You in advance and Thank You for your time!

This looks like an amazing mod. For iPhone mirroring It says it requires the smartphone mirror interface: Apple MD826 Digital AV Adaptor. Looked it up and the latest reviews are complaining that the Adaptor stopped working after the last iOS update 11.4.1. Please let us know if you get this thing to work.

This won't work unless you have an AUX input in your car which, from what I understand, no Y51 does. Units such as this require such an input in order to work. See this discussions we've had:

You should reach out to them and confirm though. From memory, I don't know of anyone in this community who has done phone mirroring on their radio (I'd be the first to do it if it was feasible so I can get Android Auto working!).

If you get a working solution, I'd LOVE to see it. Been dying for phone mirroring in my car.

Although it looks to be more expensive for Apple CarPlay, why not try this:

vs. cheaper option for smartphone mirroring with hdmi out

Don't own the device/not a company rep, so unsure how easy the installation is, how reliable it is, etc. but stumbled upon this company when I was looking to do the exact thing you want to do. However, they get an "F" from the BBB (39 complaints in the past 3 years, with 16 unresolved), but 4/5 stars from 57 customer reviews?? 4/5 stars from 74 reviews on Trustpilot.

I think I would do as much research about the product from other enthusiasts before throwing down that much cash...

Can you maybe take a short video of the device in action please? I'd like to see it. I assume it uses streaming bluetooth and then bypasses nav to send video to the screen somehow.

if i could get the one linked that puts apple carplay on my screen, and fixes the bluetooth calling issues that have plauged us all with this model infiniti it would be worth it 100%. i would just want to be sure i still retain all the climate and car settings on the factory system as well.

NavTool seems like something that may work...based on my quick skim of their site. But I'm closing on a house tomorrow so I got zero cash for mods lol...this is definitely back on my radar though. I'd love for Waze to be on my main screen as well as use Android Auto/Google Maps if need be.

I'm totally on board with this. If it works with android I would be one happier owner.

Have any videos of this in action surfaced yet?
