Need a new Meet spot in Orlando

hey pc bootlegger, i was just wondering where you guys practice drift at , i've driven around east orlando late at night trying to find a safe place to drift, without gettin caught by police, haven't found a place yet, and hey man i'd join ya anytime man , still lookin for lsd though

the spot that I know isnt the best for drifting. it has two good corners to drift and thats it. the only reason why I like it so much is that there is NOBODY there at midinght on saturdays. if you want to know where it is, contact me through aim and I will give you directions.

Got boost ur being a D*ck. there were plenty of people there and we had plenty of fun without you. its not about going out to see 5 nissans or 50. and if i see a well done car of any make i'll look but we go out there now to hang out and talk. not to show off.

Uhmm Mr. Drakon ,if you notice my last post were not directed torwards you, it was about the meets itself. I use to go to the meets back in the day in my Tsi Awd,which is now history but I remember when the parking lots were full of 240s,some 300zx,turbo Sentra,etc. Nissans and then the friends of the Nissan guys which has Civics, yeah I'm saying Civics with swaps or turbocharged, not riced out POS, a couple other DSMs, some RX7 guys and the Occasional modded Supra, which were in that Bennigans lot. If you ever went to one those meets back in the day, you would understand. They are plain out wack now......peace. .

LoL.. I gotta agree with Gotboost... Back in the day.. there were lots of nissans.. and it was not who's car was nice it was just to come up there and hang out with people and convers... Now since Sonics on I Drive got smart and said no more to the Ricer community.. they migrated like birds to the what use to be our spot... and with the statement of HAHA nissans got their spot taken over by ricers.. Its kewl... But you fail to mention that they lost their spot to the PoPo Saturday nite... If we organize a meet and do it repsonsibly.. As in asking permission and talkin with the cops... i well bet that we can start out meet and keep it going ... its not how many cars are there or how many people show up .. its just a time to meet with other people and converse.. Its peole that you don't see everyday.. Once a week is not a tiring thing... And bout the drift spot... Lets not advertise on here that we are going to have a drift meet.. cuz more then likely there will be one fvckin idiot whos mouth will open and everyone will know.. So if you want to talk bout it... Use a fone.. And the meet by the way did turn out good... I'm sorry that i couldn't stay.. Everyone knows i had a good reason though...

ok listen bennigans was the parking lot for the fast imports back in the day. everyone knew that if you were there you were quick. now everyone wants to be qucik so they go.. 99% of them now are slow and would barely beat my ford focus that is stock.

As soon as school starts back up again saturday nights at 9 or 930 me and a bunch of my friends will be meetin up at Sonics on UNIVERSITY and for right now its not really that busy over there and also right next to it is a car wash and a econo lub and tune place so theres a ton of parking and its pretty lit and like Cops for sure wont break up that area because weve been meetin and eatin there forever then we just cruise around after that to other places like bennigans... i would like to see that place as a meeting place, and time isnt bad either, they dont get much business, but this weekend i will be in miami checkin out the car scene there, but ill be back next week and will be there around 9 or 930 chillin if anyone wants to make that spot a MEET

OK, WHY don't we just get to bennigins at like 9:30PM with some flashlights and kick the damn ricers out? I tried to set somthing like that up 5 months ago but nobody wanted to help. I still don't think we should have to move, we still need to keep going back and parking in our same spot, if we can keep them away we should. It's our club and I'm not going to be run off, even if I have to put up with all the ricers in the process. Mike said it right Bennigins is for the fast imports, it has nothing to do with NICO or Nissans it's all about going fast on little motors.

Nobody showed up anywhere last weekend, I drove to every meeting spot in orlando, nobody was out.

We HAD permission from Continental Relestate corp giving us permission to meet there, but since the ricers came in we lost that right. That means that we can't be at TGI Friday's etither because it's owned by the same company. We need to find a totally new spot. I'd love to go to the Broadway Pizza on alafaya and 50, but once again that would require us moving which sucks.

One other thing that pisses me off, NOBODY goes in and eats. If we are going to get permission to use their parking lots we need to support that establishment by going in and having a coke or somthing. Me, Mic, and John were the only guys who went into Fridays last week, we got a table for several guys but nobody else came in. You are going to have to suport them for them to suport us..... but nobody understands that or wants to help. I'm getting pretty sick of it all and think I'm about to give up on a meet that I've been going to like religion for the last 5 years.

Paul... Thats not a bad idea.. But how many people do you honestly think would come out on a friday nite...but aside from that, I honestly think TGI is alot better cuz atleast we are separated from them.. we aren't part of them we are not takin that spot back and if you noticed.. if we would have parked over there... we would have gotten kicked out by the cops anyways... unless we have papers to show for.. we have nothing.. i wouldn't mind meeting up on friday to see whats going on.. I don't get how there can be a group of WRXs and some other crap in that Bennigans lot and the popo doesn't kick them out. I agree with Paul there, stick to that lot and let them know its still a NICO meet spot, and those guys that meet in that Bennigans lot know it was a NICO spot.....But I might be in agreement of just getting away from it all at a whole new spot..........within reasonable distance and away from where "ricer fly byers" wont start rolling in. Start throwing up good locations.........

BTW Bennigins won't give us a letter saying we can be there because they are the ones who've been calling the cops on us.

i dont really know too many of you guys but im sorta new to the nissan scene and want to be a part of anything and everything, this weekend is bad for me because for fullsail my friends and i are doin a documentary on street racin and we know some ppl there, but the main thing is rollin in deep. im friends with all the WRX guys and i helped get there meet together but what we all did was basically met up at like 7 and ate and then just hung out and then rode over to bennigans together. meeting there is kinda tough to stick together but meeting somewher before hand which is better. thats why sonics on univerity isnt too bad and i mean even fridays aint bad but we gotta eat there.

Friday's was full of T and A while we were in there eating, I don't think that's such a bad idea. Maybe get everybody over there at like 10pm (which means they show up at 10:30) we eat, bull****, maybe talk to the manager for a sec and tell him who we are, tip well, and then go outside and kick any ricers out who try to come join us (while keeping track of our recipts so we don't get hastled by the cops since we're paying customers). Of course then they're gonna say we are loitering..... I'd like to see the WRX guys show up.

that was like the best thing about coming over there for me. but we really should keep the NICO meets strictly to NISSANS nad INFINITIS!! Thats the whole point of NICO. That meet was never ment to be a NICO meet, we've been doing that WAY before NICO was even a glimmer in Rex's eye. I'm getting bored of Nissan's and Infiniti's anyhow, you can only see the same thing 500x.... It's nice to see what others are doing and what they've got. That was always the nice thing about our meet, it showed a good deal of diversity.

I agree, I liked it before when a bunch of diffrent none ricey fast cars showed up. Back when Titan used to bring the black supra that is now the street class champion, back when Jesus Rivera brought his red supra, back when Jay had the S14 and other cars that showed up that I cant remember at the moment.

does anyone know the definition of insanity??? It is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result!! We can all remanice of the 'good 'ol days' when just the 'fast' cars came out to Bennegans but things change... Ive hung out at ALL the spots... K- Mart, Kodys, Checkkers, Sonic (when Jade met there), Bennegans then and now... Ya know I still listen to '80s freestyle from time to time but I got rid of the floresant Tshirt and sport jacket and started wearing socks!!! If peps want to get more organized then those peps need to ... Get orginized and meet someplace. Bennegans is not the spot anymore. If anyone remembers K-Mart at Herdon plaza back in the day that was the biggest meet in Orlando and has yet to be out done, hell there used to be vendors there selling **** it was so huge, maybe most of you are too young to remember those days,, hell most of ya probably didnt even have your drivers license yet but then there was no such thing as 'ricers'. And not to sound racist but the Spanish were the ones that ruined that spot,,, 'Cuz once the you started hearing no-exhaust rotories and bongo drums that was the end... peps started doing donuts and drifting and peeling out and the Herdon people said that we had to go... Some of us loyalists tried to keep it goin but it was all for not... somethings have to come to an end... lets find a new spot and support our love and respect for Nissans, our sport, and anyother fast car that wants to join us.. We are not a 'club' but a group with similar likes and interests so there will never be any orginization. Lets just settle on a new spot, let the ricers keep geting kicked out of Bennegens and continue to have fun, isnt that what its all about?

I agree with yellaspec. I am way to young to remember any spot that old and i'm pretty new to nico (and i dont have a nissan yet ) BUT! he's right. so lets just figure somethin out. Paul I doubt you know who i am but i've talked to you before. Me and a couple people were there earlier and we went in to eat at around 11 so we finished around the time you went in. This week i'll wait around longer till enough people get there.

I'm probly gona come out with kevin since we'll be working on my car at his house most of the day. If we do go in to eat it would be better if it was just nico members/long time bennigans people instead of everyones friends.

If anyone in Apk needs a ride i could probly hook u up and anyone anywhere else should post here and see if one of us is close to you so you can come.
