If you noticed that I said "build up" pics you'd realize that it's an "8 second project" But knowing what I know i'm sure it'll find the 8sec zone soon enough...

Hey yeswepromise, I will be the first to admit that this project isn't for the budget conscious. But my goal was to have the fastest "street" Skyline in the States!

Palmerwmd, The car isn't exactly finished, still waiting on 1 part. All I need is an oil pump gasket, can you believe that?As soon as I get the gasket the motor will be put back together and i'll post some pics and dyno numbers.

hopefully they have it on the shelf, seeing as how the RBs have the same oil pump outline it should fit any RB which makes me optomistic they will have it. Which 26 are you using; R32, R33, or R34?

Above and beyond the call of duty, thanke Madscientist. I really appreciate everybodies thoughts on my project. Thanks alot guys.

myred240, do you want to know the cost of parts? Or the entire build up? All I can say is if I told you, you'd probably think I was nuts. But a round figure for "just parts" retail comes out to 30+. Sorry I don't have any pictures of the motor just yet. Just picture a fully built HKS drag motor with a HUGE twin turbo set up and thats pretty much it. Here's the turbo link http://www.hksusa.com/images/?id=1168

Wow this is really impressive stuff.

i dont know much about getting sponsors, and Im sure you arent worried about money seeing as though this project has already costed you a ton, but did you ever think about writing to HKS and showing them what youve done with their products? It may be worth something.

When I was going over this project a year ago, I gave sponsors some thoughts. But the truth is HKS dosen't give a sh*t about me, they're just not the sponsoring type. I do use all their products, but only because they're top notch. But if you know somebody who works for them "wink wink" tell them J/K.

Well Kawasaki-san should be down here for his Dryhopp drag series in June, hopefully I will have something to enter! Send me some video of the car and contact information and if he comes I will put it in his hand.

Now by Kawasaki-San you mean Tetsuya? If I remember correctly he pilots every "Balls out" drag machine HKS builds? That would be great if you could, but don't go out of your way for me. The oil pump gaskets were more than enough!

Thanks again,Kurt-

That's who I mean. I'm always joking with him, he's very cool. It's no trouble, I'll be there and if he's there I am going to go BS with him so I don't mind dropping a Demo tape on him.

Haha, as long as it's no trouble then by all means do it. But you've already done more than enough. I always remember those who have helped along the way. You don't have a shop that you affiliate with? Or if you fix other peoples cars do they have a name for you? I'd put it on my car as a "minor contributer" J/K I really will put it on though.
