You know what I just thought off? Are Maxima & I the only ones who are actually able to drive their 240's. It seems like EVERYONES is down at the moment (either bad driver (ie ClubSX) or blown (240kid)

haha no offense Pat (JK)

I should have my car back by new years, but knowing my luck so far it will probably be another 2 years before I see my baby cakes

the rb20 came in the R31 and the R32.. im assuming you are talking about the R31? do we actually have some fans of old school Nissan/Datsun? i love the older Nissan/ Datsun coupes.

actually I think we're tied... R32 two, R33 two. Whats wrong with them looking like S14s? They're all beautiful.

I love old school, just not too much from the eighties. 60s and 70s skyline gtr's, 240z's, 510's, Datsun Roadsters are all cool as sh1t

eh, im just glad im not the only one.. some people dont recognize that the older muscle cars arent the only older badass cars that are beautiful. even though the R31 looks like a box compared to the 34.. i still love it, its light.

I went to do a little side electrical job in the basement of one of the elders from my church I've known for years, and lo and behold right in the middle of the room I'm supposed to work in is a 1969 Datsun 2000 roadster partially dissassembled. Needless to say, I found some new respect for the guy. It had been in a garage for like 20 years and was in surprisingly good shape. No rust at all.

I do love muscle cars, but you're right, they are a little over publicized compared to other types of cars. I love old Jags, Datsuns, BMW's, Mercedes, Aston Martins, Minis, the Toyota 2000GT, The Ferarri Daytona from Miami Vice, the list goes on.

I think its a shame to watch classic designs fade away. The cars of the eighties, a lot of them are no big loss (not talking about your R31's) but a lot of the ones I grew up with in the 90s are too cool to just watch them rot away. 240s, 3rd gen Maximas, Z cars, all of these I see all the time looking like they just got dropped off a 2 story building and then rolled in mud. Its such a crime

I kind of like those, I think the 87-89 look better than the old ones. They just look more rounded off. I considered buying a pristine black 87 non turbo from my cousin once. It was a pretty car.

my 240 hasn't always been running

i guess everyone forgot about me. my poor 240 is dead AGAIN, a rod is knocking or something. it really sucks. its back to drive the old black stallion again. ironic that my 87 ford aerostar has never failed me and ive put it through absolute hell. and r32s are the sexiest, r33s are my least favorite, and r34s are getting old but they are still awesome.

our power was out when I got home from work yesterday so my wife had a fire going in the fireplace. We were going to stay at my mom's but it came on about 9:00. Other than that it wasn't that bad.

scs13- thanks for the justification there, I thought this was an all R33 room.sorry about your car. Maybe you should buy my Maxima. Seriously, I think its time you thought about a serious rebuild or replacement if you're having that many problems. Might save you some money in the long run. I don't think you should get rid of your car, I mean whats an upgrade from a 240?

clubsx- what's broken on your car? Are you getting it fixed? If its front end pieces I my have them...

Alisha- I just found out last night that the parts car with the rear five lug conversion that I was going to sell you already got crushed. I had called my father-in-law weeks ago and asked him to hold off, but he did it anyway. It really makes me mad. I'm so sorry. I'll still let you have the wheels cheap if you want them. once again I'm really sorry.

if i had the money id do what i really wanted to the car, but that will be a while. seriously thinking about either saving up and throwing everything i wanted on the car or saving up and buying something newer and badasser.
