thanks for the pics jordan, im thinking of a darker purple for my coupe. yeah those smoked crystal tails do look pretty good, i think i will take your advise and go with those. but jordan i think you might be slipping because a coupe with a silvia front end isnt a sil80.....lol, its a left hand drive Silvia.

I traded a 300 Winchester magnum rifle for the v8 rx7 and I traded the rx7 for the 240. Bought the gun at walmart for $297.99.

yeah im talking about like a purple thats really deep and dark. im not into bright outrageous paint jobs although i did think about at one point painting my old hatch pink...lol. for some reason i like cars in girly colors but then again i name all my cars after women.

turboredneck thats a sweet deal you made then.

anyways im looking into buying a silvia front clip to save time and money by getting everything all at once. my friend paul told me about osaka because thats where he used to get motors from but ive also heard bad things about them like they get your money and not send what you order, they are in canada so i'll have to research them more. anybody know any other companies to order a whole front clip from? im going to be calling osaka tomorrow about pricing and to ask about the 4 door skyline they have for sell because paul is interested in it.

also if anyone is interested Paul is selling his G35 coupe, its super charged, has a body kit, custom interior and i believe he has 19" rims on it right now. its super clean and well taken care of. if your interested just let me know and i'll get you in contact with him for pics and more info. he wants me to get the word out for him because he hasnt been on here in forever.

I wouldn't buy a front clip from anyone but jhot. By clip are you wanting the whole thing? motor and all? If so, most of those are going to have ****ed up body panels on them, so 9.8 times out of 10 you'd have to get the front end body seperate from the motor. When I priced the body panels on message boards, I saved about 150-200 over buying the front end panels from an importer. But they are the closest guys that have good motors...that way you can go compression test it and bring it back yourself so you don't pay shipping. Just my .2 cents.

i assume you drift because you said "all i need to know is i have enough power to slide". the new trend is also to hate on everything that is popular, then the next fad comes along. i cant say that im not one of those people either lol. which is why i hate that 240s are so goddamn popular now. im not much of a fan of most crazy colors or riddiculous amounts of flake either. i will say though if i have the money my engine bay and valvecovers are going to be purple and gold with lots of flake. because it will make me laugh because its a v8 and hopefully v8 guys will still hate it. and back to the purple, i was going to find some pictures of brickyard red and other dark purple cars but it took too much effort just to put those pics up haha.

zerothread?id=188268theres a super nice fastback with a xenon lip thats brickyard too but i cant find it

Is there anybody closs that can do a tune or a scan on my car. I dont know anything about Nissans and my car is running wisked rich when you give it fuel. I have a fuel pressure check tool but i dont know where to hook it up to, its the one to check regulators with a valve on them.

werd. not trying to be rude or anything. but if you proclaim that you don't know anything about nissans...why would you start with an RB swapped 240?

I havent drove the car much more then up the road and back but my friend i bought the car from says it fouls plugs bout evry 3 or 4 days. It has ngk copper plugs in it, a buick gn coil pack and accel race plug wires, a new fpr supposedly (but you know new parts can be bad to), no exhaust and a narrow band afr gauge tapped into the 02 sensor. I have a fuel pressure check tool but i cant find a shcader valve on the fuel rail or the regulator .
