nah, i trashed that motor when i was turbo. popped the ringlands on all 4 cyl haha. bought a shortblock for 65 bucks and tossed it in there. im not fixing that damn headgasket either till i got enough spare cash to buy a timing chain kit for it and its goin in the fastback. my brother is still running that motor he bought from you though, hopefully will be turbo soon. i wont let him repeat my mistakes either haha.

thanks kesean, my friend cody took that pic when we were on the way to motorsports nationals. ill have to put the rest of the pics on my myspace. we had a pretty decent convoy on the way down there.

so my S14's original motor (which I basically was gonna trash, but sold it to you for $100 bucks) died as a KA-T? Worthy death I guess. Glad you got some use out of it. The one your brother is using was always a good reliable motor... I hope he doesn't blow it up.

btw, I got that old coupe running that used to belong to your friend. Fired it up yesterday evening. If I decide to turbo it I'll come ask you about your mistakes:)

haha yeah man that motor you sold me was a champ, i loved it. it had 190 psi on all 4 cyl. i beat the crap out of that motor in the mountains. but wastgate problems spiking about 20psi on a t25, no boost gauge, stock injectors, stock spark plugs and a side mount killed her. it was a sad day, she was real quick even with 4 broken pistons and running on 3 cyl haha. but my brothers motor is a champ too, only smokes a little cause of valve stem seals i think. thats awesome you got that car running though, i know that car was a hell of a project.

yeah it has been one hell of a project, but seriously its not that bad. You already know it was stripped almost to the bone, but I stripped it even further, and pretty much started over. I only just started on it a month ago, and I'm already this far, even with only working on it a few hours a day if that most days. I'm pretty happy with how its going so far.

If you want to see it from start til where it is now, just click on this link, I've got everything documented.

jordan you have the Q shell if so we need to get together about me getting that rear end

also i have decided to skip out on the vh swap after looking more into it i came up with a total cost in the car and running of about 4500. I can put a 300+hp sr in it for that, so im just gonna hold off on anything untill feb and do somthing then. Not sure what yet but i do know i won't be turboing the motor in my car because its got like 200k on it and i dont think it can take it ,so it will deffinatly be a swap.

I also have a car for sale if anybody knows somone who would be intrested. Its a 2003 Ford taurus SEL with all the options exept the sunroof. It books at like 7500 but im asking 5700 obo and it has right at 100k on it and my wife drives it everyday. It runs great.

okay okay...I've got a delimma. Ive been tossing around getting rid of my Mini for a little bit...someone just offered me a 2002 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro...trade. only downside..it's tiptronic. BUT...I don't know. I think it's a good idea. KBB value is about dead even. I have a lotta money in mine, so some cash on top would be nice...it would be easier to resell later for the same price range as the mini since it's stock w/coilovers...opinions?

so ive decided once i get my motor swap and then move on to the body that i want to paint the car purple so that leaves me wondering about the tail lights. should i go smoked or crystal tails? i want the car a dark purple if that helps out any.

I'm not much on purple. I guess if it was done right, it could be tight. I'm not really a fan of either smoked or crystal lenses. If i had to choose, ugh, i would have to go with the smoked lenses.

i'm finally going to be able to get the Z fixed. I just don't have the cash to get a new engine dropped in or it rebuilt at a shop. Cash and time is a huge factor right now. My mom's neighbor who's big on building hot rods and anything that has to do with rides, told me sunday that he would help me with the rebuild. He's got a 3 bay shop with everything you would need. he also paints. Geoff brought to my attention, with the engine out i should go ahead and do some body work and get the baby re-painted. He also threw some suggestions at me as far as internals. He's got a roll-back and said he can pick the car up this coming saturday! It's gonna be a long process but will def. pay off.
