haha yeah. well chris smith called hawks 3rd gen and spoke to the owner bruce about trading his duster for a complete ls1 swap. bruce told chris that he would do it. but after researching all the **** required for the swap. chris decided against it. there is a **** load to it and it is not easy at all. it would be cheaper to buy a z28

i think we told him how expensive it was going to be. unless youre gonna make everything yourself it gets up to like 6k+ at least. i might as well do something stupid like that though, ive already got way too much money in my car and its still slow haha. im already up at like 7k+, but i love here so idc.

3200 for my car, 2500 for coils and wheels. the rest is just random *** **** like motors and my other wheels and whatnot.

yeah true. it adds up fast. i really want to get those wheels. even if i can buy them now, its going to be atleast 6-8 weeks before i could get them. so we'll see.

edit: i found another vendor on zilvia that can do the wheels for 1350 shipped. it would still take 6-8weeks though. i can deal with that.

i need help selling some stuff. i got a 5speed transmission, some 5speed swap parts, a stock sr20det radiatora s13 spoiler-less hatch in perfect condition, a chuki bumper and alot of various other parts that i need to get rid off.

well Jordan i really dont have an idea on a price thats why i said for yall to shoot out some ideas on a price or even make me an offer. the body of the car is a bit rough but hell i wanted to race it and we all know a nice paint job doesnt make a car faster. the way i see it is someone could buy my car for lets say 700 as an example and drop in the motor and 5 speed swap, turn around and sell it for 2500 to 3000 and then they made enough of a profit to buy a SR.

ohh and for those that might be interested Guiedo has a S13 coupe for sell $2500 unpainted, $3000 painted, OBO

We know, Guido has been trying to get rid of that car for awhile.

I think an LS1 swap is blah. All the money spent on it can go elsewhere.

what do you mean 10mpg < 28mpg.

an ls1 camaro gets about 28 mpg stock and i would imagine in a car that weighed about 500 lbs less would get even better than that.

gnvarnadore: 700 for everything included, swap parts and motor? if thats the case i might want to pick it up if no one else is intrested. your in columbia?

jordan, you may have dibs, but i got money. lol, just kidding, i dont need another s13.

jordan you are FAR from a ricer. Nice *** wheels and nice coils. no body kit. who cares if your slow. your still the fastest person i know down the mountain. im gonna get some stupid hard compound tires for those works. for some reason, i keep eating up those gforce sports.

yeah id like to keep the rotas, but part of the reason i want new wheels is so i can run wider tires. those 205s arent really doing it for me anymore. i think thats why i keep eating up rear tires. if i was to keep grids i would go for a +20 so i can run 225's

I'll be selling mine here shortly, need to finish work on my nismo/270R bumper and get it painted. Was brand new from the dealer, have had it a little over a year, was painted gunmetal but the primer didn't hold, so the most of the paint is missing off of the front so that will have to be redone, has one little scuff on the bottom and thats it. Also have 2 of the 5 brackets, using zipties on the rest because those ****s are expensive.

just curious but what wheels are you looking at? are you trying to fit the biggest tire you can out back? are you going to pull your fenders? what offsets? need to know that to see what you can really clear. youre definetly going to need a really good roll and probobly a little pull to run a tire that big out back. im running a 17x9 +24 with a 245/45 (too tall for my taste) in the back with stock arms (retarded camber) and i need to roll my fenders more BADLY. in the front i would run like a 225 or 215, without camber adjustment its really hard to clear a big tire in the front. my wheels were out like an inch with stock camber. im running a 225/40 and a 215/40 in the front i think. haha, i love the way it looks and ill probobly stick with that when i get new tires. its really up to you in relation to how you want it to look and about the tire wear.

Im really not looking for anything tall and would definately need a roll.
