how come there's 2 guys on here with the same S14 in their sig? just curious.

You need to get the ends that meet up to your compressor altered. Beyond that I don't know about the wiring, I guess it should just work.

zee, ill swap your motor for you for CHEAP. if you get a front clip its super easy and even quicker, dont have to search for parts and all that nonsense. the sr we swapped only took about a day.

a shop just opened up off of wade hampton in greenville. they are supposed to be doing a dyno day every month. 35 dollars for three pulls. theyre pretty cool too, like you said they said it was cool for people to hang out in the parking lot as long as nobody acts like a jackass.

greg, you should check under the valve cover for the upper timing chain guide. it was like a factory recall or something to have them taken off. they break and rattle around and stuff. it should be right on top of the timing chain, two bolts and it comes off. hopefully thats all it is and nothing serious.

oh yeah and pat, i removed all that bs off my motor, but ill check my brothers car tomorrow for you. they should have colors on them though that tell you where they go. you could always look at the FSM and it will tell you too.

Thanks, but I won't have the parts till the end of the year and I not getting a clip I am getting an engine set from Heavy Throttle and the swap package with everything and a turbo timer and stuff, but when the engine gets pulled I want to paint it then so it will be a complete job, but I will get back to that when the time comes.

I am going to get everything painted car and engine bay, but if you have some pics of your brothers work i will defiantly consider him for the job but this is going to be very involved and is not going to be really simple and I am a tough critic.

Please remember I won't be doing till the end of the year at the earliest.

All the hard lines that are open in the pics under the tb need to be capped.

The long one that goes across the radiator? If so try hooking it up somewere between the maf and tb. I'll have to look at one of my 240s to be sure but it can't hurt to try it. I'll try to get some pics of how I have everything hooked up to.

what would cause negative camber on the front of an S14? What would cause the steering wheel to want to stay in whatever position you point it in?

Either its been in an accident, hitting excessive holes in the road, had control arm or anything like that changed. It could also be that the bolt that you use to adjust the camber is loose. All those would be a factor

ok i know this might sound dumb but are you sure it has negative camber because if your going by the way the tires look depending on driving habits it can cause tires to wear abnormaly, also if it is negative camber how bad is it because negative camber isnt a bad thing, if at the right angle it can improve handling. could be something is bent or broken under the car if your refering to the car you just got, and as for the steering wheel you got me on that but i would check out the whole steering column and rack to see if its broken somewhere or if something is loose and if its properly lubed.

straight from the fsm. you probobly shouldnt cap those off because im sure the PAIR system needs vacuum. if you think you have a vacuum leak then spray some starting fluid over all the vacuum lines in the engine bay, that will tell you where it is. the engine will idle up whenever you spray it in a spot where there is a leak. i dont really see that this has to do with your car running rich though. if you have a vacuum leak your car will run like **** and you will have an unstable idle.

the last guy hit a curb with it. Hard enough to blow the airbags. I've taken the wheels off the front, and the only thing I see is a tension rod mount that is a little mangled and what looks like the wrong nut on a tie rod (tie rod has been replaced on the right side). I was expecting to find bent or broken parts, replace them and press on. But I'm a little stumped.

I'm sure an alignment shop could fix most issues with the camber, but I just don't know about the sticky steering.

The PAIRC system does nothing but let fresh air to the cat so it will start to work faster, if your a tree hugger keep it, if not ditch the waste of space (and plug the associated vac. lines) and enjoy the extra room you have in your now cleaner looking engine bay.

I will more than likely be heading to atlanta to look at that parts car you found on craigs list on thursday so I should be able to stop by and hang out for a little while and help you figure out whats wrong with that s14.

you cant get rid of the entire pair system unless you plug or weld the hole closed on the downpipe. ive gotten rid of all of the emissions off of my motor, egr, secondary butterflys in the manifold, swirl control valve, pair, charcoal, the nest of doom behind the motor. only vacuum i have is the fuel pressure regulator and the brake booster.

i think he might as well do the carb cleaner because just removing those vacuum hoses isnt getting rid of half of the vacuum bull**** in there. but yeah i guess i would just get rid of the pair valve (i had no idea what it was supposed to do) and the charcoal cannister too.

ill post some pics of my engine bay tomorrow to show what ive been up to

is there any way to get around the maf making your car run like **** if its too close to the tb.?

What you guys think about the 92' KA?Is it hard to change the bearing? What should i offer him...?http://www.carolinanissans.com...10732
