Sorry it took so long for an update. Between Work, school, my gf's birthday, our anniversary, valentines day, and doing an SR install, unfortunately my motor has taken a backseat. Anyway, i started out by scrubbing, then pressure washing my block and getting it all nice and clean. Then i carefully scraped off all the head gasket material and cleaned the head surface as well as i could. It was at this point that i went to remove all the oil jets. And magically broke one without even touching it. No joke. SO! if you have one please let me know so i can buy it from you. lol. Anyway, here is my cylinder walls. They were actually in very good shape. You can still see the crosshatch in each cylinder. However, i had an identical small wear spot on every cylinder in the same place which is shown.Anyway, enough of that. I then used my deglazer and re-cross hatched each cylinder and here are the results. So got all my rod and main bearings in the other day, as well as the front and rear main seals. so i was planning on installing everything this weekend. But, i guess i have to find a oil jet before i can do that one. So i started working on the head. I removed all the valve springs etc. and cleaned each valve. And also lapped all of the valves.
