Aren't they almost 200hp out of a 1.8L? I could look it up, but since you've got one...

like 175 crank horse power for a stock gsr 1.8type r is like 190 crank horse

i dont have it yet, but im building a gsr/ls/b16 hybrid motor

its a gsr blcok, ls crank and rods, b16 pistons, b16 head etc.

basically a ls vtec without the oil line bull****.

reason is ls has same bore, but slightly longer stroke. blah blah blah etc.

Yea, I'm familia with the ls vtec swap. I've got a friend that's got one in w/cai, header, highflow cat, exhaust, vtec controller, and ecu. It's a pretty darn quick car. He's contemplaing putting a turbo on it. Man that'd be scary...

why not 14:1? That's the generally accepted effeciency limit for compression ratio. Throw a 200shot on that and it'd be a screamer.

I have on multiple occasions considered building a super high rev direct port nitrous'd CA in a Pulsar.

Man that would be a sleeper.....

I like the way you think but I would suggest hand-tight lug nuts. The potential for the dramatic fiery death of your opponent is higher.

Aahhhh, but you didn't consider the method for me giving you the flat tires. If I am loosing when we are racing, I will bust out my crossbow with laser guided bolts and give you flat tires.

Granted the chance for fires is considerably less, but what is more scary than a guy with a crossbow with a laser on it?

Wow, do you think anybody made one? I'd love to see that. I'd think you'd have to have something made custom...

LMAO! Don't we all.

As for the manifold, I would think that you could hack up the stock mani and just have a flange CNC'd to match the Webber/mani combo. Have it TIG'd and you'd be all set.

I'm prob full of it and it's not nearly that easy...

Someone did make a carb manifold for the CA. I will do my best to find out who and if they are still available. A set of flatsides would be the sex!

Nobody has a clue, I asked around. I would cut the flange off the upper manifold and two carb flanges off another and fab it if I were you.

Found a can of Devcon. Depending on what the compression ratio works out at I may be game on (not a CA though, sorry)

Nothing you can say or do will redeem you from owning a diesel. Sorry TMS, you not only loose, but you fail at life as well.

I'm just playing, I'd actually love to have a little diesel car for the fuel economy.

not to mention the gardening applications of a tiny econo box with a diesel. just think of all the tree stumps you could pull out with it.

gobs of low end torque + great fuel economy = FTW!
