Now you guys got me thinking. what I need is a color that will work with both sets of rims. That silver does look nice but I don't know if it will look as good with the chromes on.
GRNMACHINE wrote:Alright, had to make another comment. I looked at the pics again, with the black wheels I really really dig the yellow calipers up front (especially after seeing the 911 with yellow calipers today). It grew on me. The problem is we have rear drums and it is too much yellow, you cant see how nice the wheels are because there is so much yellow on the drums. No easy fix for that. Im guessing if someone photo shopped your front wheels to the back and it had rear yellow calipers it would be a whole new look.
You have to remember these are just pictures.I would have to say 9 out of 10 people in person say they like the yellow and its mainly everyone on here that doesn't like it much, which is cool I like the input. I might just do the drum black because the yellow is overpowering, I had someone say that the drum looked awesome yellow but then he asked what it was and I had to explain the difference between drums and calipers so his comment didn't register as important to me.

Trust me I love and am very proud of my ride nothing here brings me down its all very constructive criticism that I use to keep myself modding so my truck never gets boring to me.

theres a difference between powdercoated brembos on a performance vehicle

or you could be "DA FLAME" from the icy hot stuntaz, with yellow spray painted stock calipers...

there is no comparison!!!!! but the choice is up to you!

slickroger please take it as constructive criticism. Only a moron would criticise a strangers car to his face, thats why there is such a drastic difference between real life and online. i love the rest of ur R50... i think the yellow fogs (JDM) look good and the whole front end blacked out with chrome, i'm feelin it. But the rice calipers just dont fit, in my honest opinion.

Personally, I don't mind the yellow. Gives a black Pathy some life.

Silver looks too... stock. Red looks kinda lame. Is there a rust-coloured paint so you can look like the rest of us?

hehe about 10 years ago there was a website called ICY HOT STUNTAZ that was three guys trying to push their rap album, with the most ridiculous photos EVER it ended up being the laughing stock of just about every automotive message board, at the time

now the website is long gone but some of the photos still remain

I remember that site, I think it's still up, or someone put up a replica site so the legend will live on.
