That looks really sick. I'll have to wait till next year to paint the QX4 stock rims black. Really looks good, very stealth all black

Ah, cut him a break. He doesn't understand what snow is, and the only ice he's seen is the stuff floating in his coke (hint: it's called pop!). He can't appreciate winter tires!

Slickroger,

I think it looks pretty good, I probably would have painted the center caps all black tho. I have one question, I just noticed you don't have the door rub strips on your doors (at the horizontal groove in the doors), did you remove those or did your Pathy not come with them at all?

i couldn't care less about the winter tires. when i said "any of it," i meant ANY OF IT, i.e. the blacked out headlights, yellow fogs, chrome grille, yellow brake calipers/drums, limo tint and tint strip on the windshield.

i think it looks like crap.

Roger it's looking good bro. I agree with Pwnin about the center caps and I'd also do that paint job you've been talking about on the drums. The black spray stuff worked really well for me.

That's cool I'm not hatin', and some people need hate in there lives.

everyone is entitled to there own opinion, I personally would like to own a second R50 and go the off-road way so it would look more like Pwnin or Empty but I'm not rich and there is no need for it where I live.

Pwnin

my truck did not come with the door rub strips

What black spray stuff did you use exactly.I'm also running Forza now, but you seem to be way ahead of me in the game I'm just getting those cars you had posted earlier.

It's one thing to have different taste, it's another to insult someone and say their R50 "looks like crap."

Roger I use the Duplicolor Black Spray Paint. I sanded it down first and just applied that paint, no primer.

Now that COD is out you'll have plenty of time to catch up to me on Forza! We should hit it up soon.

So you can dish it out but can't take it. I think they're calling for you to stroke their balls over at NPORA.

Incredibly nice. Extremely Clean. Great Look. I have never actually owned real "winter tires" but may consider getting some. Original Bridgestones are getting pretty old ( I run them with stock wheels in winter). Agree with others, I am not a fan of the yellow calipers etc and the center caps may look better all black. Other than that, Nice Work!!

i think it looks great roger, the yellow i dont care for personally but its different and stands out, it's something little like that thats going to attracts peoples attention then get them to notice how good the rest of the truk looks, kudos to you man, it looks great.

and alexf20c i suggest you take your negative attitude elsewhere, because incase you havent notice this is a mature forum where people discuss topics and ideas calmly and express opinions in a civil way. if we dont like how someone did something then we say it in a respectful way, not rudely or like a jerk. so i suggest an attitude adjustment is needed on your part. and it doesnt matter if Qxxx4 is Canadian or any other nationality, the comment was funny either way. lastly how bout you not be a d!ck to Empty V. i'm still quite new to this forum but I saw quickly how helpful he can be and he has alot of usefull/helpfull information on this forum and to share with everyone. So wise up or leave, this forum doesnt need someone with your rotten attidude.

one question for roger and empty, when you paint the calipers and drums, did you sand or wire brush them down to get the rust layer off? and i imagine you used a nice heavy duty primer then paint correct?

Looks good! But man... that yellow, needs to go. But hey, I've never liked yellow on anything, so I'm rather biased in that respect.

Nice job on the wheels and tires. I like it. If it were mine, I'd get rid of the yellow though.

Roger-I saw a Black Porsche 911 today, guess what it had.... Yellow Calipers. And they looked really good on it. It was different. Thats what I like about vehicles. The subtle differences you can do when making mods. Sounds like you will be respraying them black, but I thought I would comment. The difference may on the 911 may be because the wheels were silver not chrome (like your summer wheels) so maybe they dont reflect the yellow as much, and the rears were obviously calipers not drums and they didnt stand out as much. Either way, hands down, you should be proud of your ride!

Alright, had to make another comment. I looked at the pics again, with the black wheels I really really dig the yellow calipers up front (especially after seeing the 911 with yellow calipers today). It grew on me. The problem is we have rear drums and it is too much yellow, you cant see how nice the wheels are because there is so much yellow on the drums. No easy fix for that. Im guessing if someone photochopped your front wheels to the back and it had rear yellow calipers it would be a whole new look.
