hmmm lets think about this for a second, before drifting became popular 240's were dirt cheap, hmmm drifting is now popular and the price went up go figure. could it be that the s chasis is so widely used in drifting and the popularity of the silvia in japan means that there are plenty of used jdm motors up for grabs and they have alot of aftermarket support. maybe you might would concider these things before talking about them costing to much, remember the rules of supply and demand, the 240 is no longer produced and because the demand is high it causes the price to be high.yokota180sx wrote:the price of a 240 is rediculousa 240 is a 1000 and under carunless its a 14.then your pushing 3-5 in my book.

why do you have 180sx in your name if you dont even own a S chasis car? a 96 cedric and a 97 stagea arent a S chasis car.
if you know so much about drifting how come you arent out there doing it? anybody can run their mouth and talk crap but at least try to back it up. dont be a hater. im not trying to bust your balls or anything like that dude but honestly give it a break. show support for people trying to learn how to drift and are trying to do things right by not street racing or drifting on the street and putting peoples lives at risk. people that put money into their cars generaly love the car and are proud of it so even if you dont like their car dont be an ***hole about it.
yes yes, i know. but wheres all the low offset 4x100 pcd wheels i need!yokota180sx wrote:yes its trueyou too can drift a miata

the main thing i noticed, was cheap coilovers, people that just did swaps, nad nothing else trying to drift
I seem to be misunderstanding your logic here. You hate on people with cheap parts, but then you run them yourself??? Also, it doesn't take badass parts to drift, it requires SKILL.yokota180sx wrote:
and fwiw i havbe an ebay manifold and o2 housing, random upgargae downpipe and cheap *** intake on my stageabrands dont mean ****, if its quality parts, ill push it.
but when you go to the track, be prepared, dont go half ***....thats why im tryign to say here
