you ****ing suckdamn near all of youi dont give a **** if it is just a drift cartake some damn pride in your car, and dont make it look like ***

I went to a drift event this sunday at Myrtle beach Speedway, and i had to keep from laughing at people

i only have pics of the **** that was worth itthats ittwo cars worth taking my time to shoot

the main thing i noticed, was cheap coilovers, people that just did swaps, nad nothing else trying to drift

people drifting all day and still not understanding what a clutch kick initiation was

its dismal at best

and for gods sake a 55 series sidewall IS NOT CONDUCIVE TO GOOD HANDLINGi swear to god the tire was rolling so much that he wheel was touching the ground not to mention how funny the **** looked bouncing up and down

I mean seriously, all the **** ive been preaching and suggesting are things that, if these cars had/did, there woudl be a 100% improvment in car handling.

its just sad, that its such a fad. (drifting that is)

Now STOP USING 240s!!!!get out there and try other cars!try miatas, try mustans, starions, camarosget some seat time in other cars!

and happy drifting

people going to the mb event arent exactly pros, you took shots of two cars that are sponsored.. so their sponsors pay for their tires, wheels, paint, kit, etc. Most people go there to practice or begin drifting. And why should people not use 240s, what other car is rwd and cheap as **** to buy/mod/& get spair parts for. you are a smart guy you should realize all that man. and to counterbalance what i said. I see pics from events in texas, etc and i see that their cars are like way super baller compared to the ones i see over here, its just mimicing the car scene in the southeast in general, a bunch of dumbasses that have no clue about anything technical but every once and a while you find someone who knows whats going on.. i try to surround myself with those people.

mustangcamarostarionmiatafirebirdetc etc

while not all foreignmost have more power, tq and require less mods to drive well enough to drift.

if i cant find a 240 for a reasonable priceim buying a 2000GT.

and sponsors dont mean ****its not like federals cost an *** load dude

idk i dont think any of the cars you listed are usually That cheap, and you arent gonna readily find spare **** for anyof those like you will a 240. Good point made, they do have better power except the miata but i love them anyways....sponsors mean alot, if you have tires to burn that makes a HUGE difference, i guess im looking at this from a poor *** college kids perspective but i dont have gobs of money, and sometimes buying tires drains my wallet. thats just for Daily **** right now too!

like i have always saidanythign with a car is not cheap

you gotta pay to playwhen you do, you get my respectget a better job, work longer hours

dont ***** about not having money if you wont work to change itand no, going to school doenst count, its a long term improvemnt

regardless, Fox body mustang? 4gs240 w v8 swap.....is the swap along almost 6-8 thousand?

lhell even a 99+ gt is only 6-7 grandand its 6 or 7 years newer?

the price of a 240 is rediculousa 240 is a 1000 and under carunless its a 14.then your pushing 3-5 in my book.

hmmm lets think about this for a second, before drifting became popular 240's were dirt cheap, hmmm drifting is now popular and the price went up go figure. could it be that the s chasis is so widely used in drifting and the popularity of the silvia in japan means that there are plenty of used jdm motors up for grabs and they have alot of aftermarket support. maybe you might would concider these things before talking about them costing to much, remember the rules of supply and demand, the 240 is no longer produced and because the demand is high it causes the price to be high.

why do you have 180sx in your name if you dont even own a S chasis car? a 96 cedric and a 97 stagea arent a S chasis car.

if you know so much about drifting how come you arent out there doing it? anybody can run their mouth and talk crap but at least try to back it up. dont be a hater. im not trying to bust your balls or anything like that dude but honestly give it a break. show support for people trying to learn how to drift and are trying to do things right by not street racing or drifting on the street and putting peoples lives at risk. people that put money into their cars generaly love the car and are proud of it so even if you dont like their car dont be an ***hole about it.

I seem to be misunderstanding your logic here. You hate on people with cheap parts, but then you run them yourself??? Also, it doesn't take badass parts to drift, it requires SKILL.

So Mr. Hotshot, what kind of job fills up your baller wallet and money clip? Some people bust *** to make ends meet, whether they have a family support themselves and/or go to college so they can reach your baller status.

It's people like you that ruin car forums. I dont know about everyone else, but I come to a car forum to interact with other people that have love for cars, and appreciate the fact that we all love them, but different people have different tastes. You should grow up. You may be older than me, may not be, but mind wise, sounds like you just hit puberty.

Oh, and it's not a drift car. It's a sports coupe.

im hating on people that run cheap parts where it mattersA crack in your ex mani wont kill you, a broken strut willyou need to read all my posts before you pass judgment on me, all the knockoff parts i use, wont harm me or my car if they fail. just remember thatf your gonna use an EBay Intercooler, ****ing go for it, ive done it. **** works, but if it DOESNT work, it wont kill your car.

now use some of your vast sport coupe experience to sport your *** around nico and read a little more
