Reading through this little thread of yokota's. I would have to say that if I even took any of these kinds of posts seriously I would be pissed of all the time. Alas, I do not so I think that your opinion of the Southeast might be right in your eyes, but you can't judge a region by just a few people that you saw drifting one day.

One more thing that was bothering me

Y'all is not a word, but merely a contraction of two different words that are used very commonly in the South so sorry, Redtop, you are wrong with this one. He was using correct grammar at the time.
