Thanks for confirming that Wes...

And thanks for the info Mettler, I'll shoot Ezekiel an email about getting some inner valvesprings, and if the seat modification is that simple I can handle it myself.

This site is great!

did he mention anything about lash caps on the valve stem tips along with the lifter shims? I used to do alot of 4g63 head work with smaller base circle cams, and it would throw the rocker geometry off without evenly shimming the lifters and lashing the valve stem tips.

Superhatch: If you are ready to buy rods now, there is a set of 5.565" small journal aluminum rods that would only require your crank journal to be turned down a few thousandths and the rod to be narrowed a little bit with a belt sander, otherwise 100% drop-in with the use of stock bore chevy 305 forged pistons.

I appreciate the heads up, but I don't want to run AL rods. The longevity just isn't where I'd like it to be.

Thanks for looking out though!!!

Wow! something is actually cheaper over here?! Dont know about the UK, but most (if not all) stuff is cheaper there, even using our money.I'd like to back up what mettler said about Brian Hartley from down in my old playground. He's been working with heads and engines all his life. He isnt cheap (usually), so this is great news with some good priced cams. In fact I know his cam-grinder:) and he is one of the few real tradesman out there that you can rely on getting a job done properly. I spoke to him today about other things and also a guy at "the Head Shop" where Brian works, who also spoke highly about these engines and the ease of hp. In a country where alot of people dont care about quality of workmanship, these guys are the experienced old school tradesman

Just make sure everything is clearly marked & labeled.

"Name, Engine, Year, LH/RH intake/exhaust cam" etc

It will help keep everything in order so no one's **** gets mixed up.

Christ the VH engine is insane!

I took the GTS-8 out to my mate's place and took the boys for a cane... 240kmh in 5th gear, and it was still pulling almost as hard as it does in 2nd. I want a 6 speed!!

The acceleration is just brutal!
