I bought the neon tube from Advance Auto parts for bout $5 a piece i think. They were on clearence and not sold anymore there. However they are Optx tube by street glow. they can be found on streetglow.com and are bout 40 a piece. the part number for ones i have is OPL48NB.

The LED in the front bumper I got from walmart in the automotive department. they were bout 10 a piece. I did all the wiring myself. drilled a hole through the floor under the rug for the wires for the tubes on the sides and sent the wires for the leds through the fender into the driver side door. could find a way into the gromet. I put it all onto a switch so not on all the time. got the switch from walmart from auto dept. If you need any more descriptive details on install let me know.

fog lights are on their way from china. but switch is in and ready to go. still debating between hid or silverstar bulbs. would like hid but don't know where to stick two more hid ballasts. any input is accepted.

also soon to come. hoping to finish installing a clear bra this weekend. got whole bumper finished. all that remains is mirrors and hood.

There is plenty of room behind the inner fender liner for a ballast on each side.

That would work well. Never thought of that. however i went with a set of Nokya artic white halogen and they melted the inside of the fog lights this morning. so thinkin that hid would not be the best of choices. thinking may have to go with regular halogen bulbs for these.

Anyone else have a problem like this or did i just get a real cheap set?

HID should run cooler than halogens. They use less power.

well i just changed out the halogens to regular plain jane bulbs. see if it melts the housings anymore tomorrow on the way to work. if not then may try hids later on. cause put the tint on and think i'll def need something brighter.

did see what your talking bout though. remembered that when i had halogens in the headlights and tint it was hot to the touch. but now with hids it is not near as hot. actually barely even warm. but wondering if it because of such a small area that maybe why the housing melted

I got the key from ebay

Code: Select all

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110619068708&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
it was about $44. I can't really say much about the key yet. I bought it because nissan told me they would program the key for free. then after I got the key they told me it would cost $50 to get it programmed. So I am going to order a couple more keys and find someone else to program it. I do have the remote programmed and it is working fine. So right now I am happy with it. I hope there is nothing wrong with the chip when I go to program it.

The lip was real easy. adds a nice look for little money. got a lot of my buddies wanting to get it for their cars.

I ordered it from Visual Garage. It is a Canadian company and the product is made in Canada.

Here is the one I ordered, the Mark II.
