yup. so happy i finally got it. may install it tomorrow. got it from oakville nissan. they lowered their shipping rates by half so figured i better get it before it goes back up. lol

Thanks a lot. appreciate the kind words. I will tell you that my sound system is not that impressive. lol. It is just a $230 radio with stock door speakers and a $130 total for sub, amp and box from walmart (which i got from someone for $100). modder on a budget. lol.

blow torch pic? the radio came from eonon.com but not sure i can recommend it right now. having few problems with it.

well you may not believe it but when i searched you name i got lots of results but none with a car. and i tried searching for your name in houston, tx location and didnt return any results.

Just an update on the switchblade key. Little late but better late then never.

I finally took the key to be cut and programmed last month. I took it to my dealership and paid $50. They wound up cutting the key wrong and still programmed it. After I fixed the cut enough to make it work somewhat, it still would not start the car. So chip was no good.

I have just fixed the switch blade key tonight. I ordered 3 more keys from ebay (link below). After some problems with my dealership, I got the new keys cut and programmed Friday for free. I tried all the keys and all worked fine. So I took one of the keys and tore it apart. I took the chip and the key and put them in the switchblade key. I also took the emblem from the key and placed it on the back of the switchblade since mine did not come with one. All worked well and car started no problem. I will post up some pics tomorrow.

Also found out that a total of 4 keys is what can be programmed to our versas. So they only programmed the 2 original keys and 2 of the ebay keys. Still have 1 uncut ebay key to find something to do with.

Its just a tip. Still oem exhaust. After hearing the sound from the Fujita intake figured I'm not going to blow a lot of money on an aftermarket exhaust. I'm just gonna wait till time to replace the oem exhaust. So just put a tip on to make it look a little less oem.

Nice lookin' Versa. I love the all-black look. The hood guard looks really sweet since the car is black. It'd probably look dumb otherwise.

That shark fin antenna is really awesome. I need to get me one of those. Was the color matched pretty well? How easy was it to get it straight?

Thanks for the kind words. I do like the way the hood guard look on the black exterior. I actually saw it first on a red exterior and don't think it looked too bad.

as for the antenna, the match was great. I actually had some paint chip off of it and was able to fix it with some touch up paint i had bought for my car a while back. Can't even tell where I had painted it. matches well with original paint.

Getting it straight was a little problem. I actually messed up the first time, but, after taking it off, I realized that it was because the original base was crooked. So i blame that on Nissan. but second time I got it on just fine (used the body instead of the original base). Definitely try to get it on right the first time though, because 3m double sided tape is not as good as the gasket they provide. Water is able to get under the double sided tape since it is multiple pieces. Their gasket is all one piece.

I got the scanguage off ebay used for bout 114 i think. they are hard to find cheap used ones on ebay. they go real quick. i looked for months and what i did was save a search for scanguage on ebay and whenever a new one was added it sent me an email. as soon as it popped up that there was a used one listed i jumped on it. there was actually a day that two were listed and by the time i got home from work and checked my email they were both already gone. so good luck if you go that route. other than that i think they can be found at auto zone and on their site. new ones cost round 170 plus shipping depending on where you get them from.
