hey is your car like a royal blue or purplish? i've seen your car around on salt lake a couple of times. beautiful car. i was thinking of painting mine a royal blue color. right now i'm getting a new ka installed in it. olso where did you get you rims?

To answer some questions:

The Megan Springs are better than expected. I thought that it'll be a lil on the soft side but to my surprise, its a lil more stiff than stock.

The lights in the grille are fog lights that my bro and I installed. The light beam shoots out low so it projects outwards about 10 feet at the most. A lot of friends say that the car looks like a monster at night if I only have those lights on. I have them setup to where it goes on/off with the parking lights so that the headlights dont pop up.

. . . and those "sleepy" lights. . . .well i'm working on that.

Oh, and those rims, well they are for "looks". They are Motegi MR7 wheels which are really really heavy. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. But, well, I'm not a drifter, nor a racer, so I just try to make my car look good going down the road.

i wouldn't mind putting my fist to your face for saying underpowered... you say that when you put an SR in it.. not when you have a very strong KA in it

here.. i've got a solution.. shut the f*** up and sit back in your seat and read... just because its not an SR doesn't make it an underpowered car... you people and your swaps think you own a god of a motor when in reality, japan is laughing at your asses for paying 2000 for a motor thats sitting in a junkyard... you don't own the streets with your SR's, you don't kill vettes cuz you're an SR... your no better then a 2.0L turboed eclipse... so shut the hell up and stop thinking that your not fast cuz you're not an SR... I've seen more turboed KA's STOCK run circles all day long around an SR thats decently built... an SR will never touch a KA'S torque level nor will it ever come close so shut up and take your underpowered SR's to someone who cares.

look i'm sorry for being an a** but i'm getting tired of the new people and the old ones getting conceited with their SR power 240s when they are no better than anyone else.. its getting overly exaggerate on what they can do... i'm sorry but when my friend whos on here "rn240sx" dynoed on a t3/t04 KA24DE with nothing else done except exhuast system and fmic dyno on 14psi and make 344hp and 347lbs of torque... it makes an SR look like a motor for a scooter... i had to vent somtime and this thread made it a perfect time to do it... i like the guys ride but to say its underpowered is pushing the line and i'm sure i'll have some people agree with me

i agree with thee whole heartedly... i mean why spend alot of money just to lose torque and displacement?

what i hate the most are the ricer ppl in my town that honor these three f***ers in town called demented becuz they have all put stock sr's into their 240s and now think they have the greatest cars ever..... thats why im working toward my goal of a turbo ka within the next few months just so i can blow their doors off:ylsuper

i appreciate the support you guys.. and i mean i don't mean to hijack the guys thread at any means but i'm just tired of it.. i've been with this site for a year and some months and i've had my 240 for that long and seeing what it use to be and what it is now just makes me angry to see these new people come on the site saying that o i bought a 240 and now i'm throwing an sr so i can beat hondadadas all day long... its annoying an frustrating.. and the said part is they believe everything people say about the SR... i myself bought 2 motors and currently building up a KA24E ya thats right an E with a garret t3/to4 with an HKS wastegate.. 10psi is going to be a daily driver ... 17psi is what i'm looking to dyno with and when those numbers come around to 4xxhp and 4xxlbs of torque.. i will die laughing when i hear another Sr saying he can do that...

enough of this pissing contest...

No one said SR's are better than KA's so shut your hole.

It is one man's opinion about his car. If he thinks it's underpowerd then so be it. ~what's it to anyone else?

As far as his underpowerd coment goes, you need to own up to what your car is... 240sx with stock engine IS underpowerd.

THAT does not mean that KA sucks.. it has quite a bit of potential.

The fog lights are some cheap ones from Ebay. Although i'm thinking of buying my coworker's PIAA lights which shines 20x's brighter and farther.

What I meant by "under powered" was that I don't need a SR motor to prove myself! To me, I see more of a satifaction of building something OEM (KA motor) as oppose to a "quick fix/upgrade" by buying a SR motor. I totally appreciate the KA motor which I am a very big fan of!

Ha you both are undeserving KA owners as well as Anand... i won't even go there with you.. waste of my time like an h22 in a civic coupe...

btw.. if you do trully care about your KA... then please don't say its underpowered.. say more of its stock restrictions makes it an underpowered stock motor.. its more sophisticated and better worded
