This engine came with a lot of ground wires... so I decided not to get rid of them... I don't know, but may be it was done with purpose.. :-)

It takes quite a bit of time actually and considering that I started out with a cut harness that some one else prior to me had put their hands on complicated things.I remove all unneeded wiring and make sure everything is clean and fit; a cut harness requires substantial time to make sure it is all in good nic.I have not had more than 3 hrs of sleep per night this past week because of school, and if you would like your harness back and a refund and it in the almost complete but still incomplete state that it is in you are more than welcome to it.I am truly sorry I was not able to deliver it in the timeframe you expected but please be aware that I have a schedule outside of sitting down and devoting 4-8 hrs per harness that is required to convert and clean up a single harness every waking moment.I am trying my best to get your harness and the few others here waiting on me as quickly as I can but I can only accomplish so much in the hours I am awake.

About the cut harness - I told u about a guy who put his hand on it, then we put our hands on him... It's OK.. I understand that u needed time to fix that.School - don't tell me about school... I'm a student and I have also a full time job and a side job fixing my "gang's" LOL cars. I understand all that.I don't want a refund - take ur time and make sure that everything is OK. I want to have it done good, and that is why I chose u to do that (u have a lot of posistive feedbacks )...The only thing I don't like is your answers "It will be done by the end of the week" last 3 weeks... If u told me "I need more time and about 3 weeks..." it would be alright I would move my car outside of the garage not paying for it 50 bucks a week just to keep my car inside... I don't feel bad about waiting, just take ur time and finish it properly. Only thing I'm asking u about is "When exactely it will be finished?" (give me a resonable time frame). Thank you and I apologize if I'm anoying you.

I bought my harness of someone on Nico which had gotten it done through Carl. I do my own wiring work but the RB I bought didn't have a harness so I bought one that had been converted for an S13 with a GM coil packs wired in. Although I hacked it up a bit to wire it into my 240z I must say his work was very nice and I was impressed with his work. Car started up first shot too :D

Moral of the story, Carl kicks a** hahah

BTW carl Im not sure if you remember the harness I am speaking about but what coilpack is used on the harness I have in case I need to replace it. It's by the brake booster in my signature picture.

Sorry for the mini threadjack

Quality craftsmanship can take time. You know the phrase "Michelangelo didn't paint the Sistine Chapel in a day."

My harness worked the first time, and it looked better than the new OEM harness on my Lexus. I was sad when I had to un-ravel part of it to wire in the Z32 MAF.

Carl's work is Double-Plus Good.

Have fuel, have spark... but doesn't start! and also sometimes the fuel pump doesn't prime and light on ECU doesn't come on... I can smell gas after some time trying to crank the car... I have stock r33 FPR and fuel pump.. tired to start the car without MAF - same thing...

you need a fuel pressure regulator and a fuel pressure gauge.

"sometimes the fuel pump doenst prime" , it wont prime if you continually turn car on and off without letting the relays turn off, wait a few seconds listen to the relays click off.. then fire it up.. pretty sure it will prime....

do you have all your intake track connected?if you just have the maf on the intake boot and an incomplete intake track or an intake track with leaks it will not start.also be sure your fuel lines are not reversed...it has been my experience that swaps will start right up but some times they need to be held WOT for the intial start up for whatever reason.also if the engine IS flooded out then you need to pull the plugs and let the cylinders dry...it is hard to start the engine with wet plugs.also make sure the cas is centered, if timing is retarded it will make for a hard start situation.

also some ecus do not have lights...you should have a mil with the key in the 'on' position and engine off.mil should go off upon start.you need to make sure ALL connectors are seated properly even a loose connector will prevent a start.make sure you have latched the f3 plug into place, just simply popping it in there will not start it.

I'll let cylinders dry, recheck all connectors and leave the car with the battery unplugged... ty
