lol, yea cars are expensive. So your parents didnt buy it, then you had to pay cash for it. How did you save up...... oh lets say $25,000. You must have a really good paying job.

Heheh.Here's that thread:http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/upl....html

Ah, yes....that is a VERY nice R34, indeed.

Hey, I'm hoping to get my R32 up to AMS for a tune sometime this year. If we can, I'd love to meet up and take some pics of our cars together.

(We've got an R34 GTS here in STL, but since DJ42 sold his car, I've got the only GT-R in the area now)

This is an R34 you can't just simply remove the fuse like on the R32 and have rwd. If you don't actually know you shouldn't write it.

Just wondering why you dont tell us how you got it. You have been asked who imported it for you about 30 times and you still havent answered yet. And after the write up on the home page about how R33's are the only one that can legally get registured that makes me wonder more about how you got it and lastly, People are wondering how much it cost, and still you havent answered. I could see if only one person asked the question and you overlooked it, but how is it when the same question is asked over and over again, you still dont answer?!

I don't think that question requires an answer, it's pretty obvious why.

it's his own business man, he doesn't have to tell anyone how he got it here..maybe he shouldn't.

It's gray market. When one is over here you don't ask questions on how you just enjoy what you see

its simple boy, you need to contact an IR tell him that you want to bring a car to the states and that he needs to convert it to the DOT specs. when the car gets to the port you put a bond to it, the car gets shipped to the shop , transformed and then submited to nhast(or what ever the letteres are) and then they decide if their happy with the work. after that customs will release the bond. .SIMPLE.... now go buy your self one, good luck

I'm 21 and have a Skyline and my parents didn't buy it for me. Some people are just better with money and savings than others are.

didnt mean to make you made, its just that im so jelous......... I try to save my money..... before i got my 240....... but i didnt think that i had enough money. I almost got an R32 GT-S. I found it for sale on a japanese car site and i emailed the sales man. It took him 3 weeks to respond to me every time i emailed him. Finally i made alot of arangements, like i was gona have the car shipped to cali, then i was gona have a car transporter take it from the dock to my front door. In the end the money wasnt there because the bank said that they wouldnt give me a loan for a car over seas and i couldnt cash it.

Hey, OP. You live in Palos Park? Cool. My grandmother lived up there years ago, just off of LaGrange Road. A condo comples not far from a high school...hell, what was the name of that school.

Anyway, is the Charlie Horse still open? And do you know the ice cream shop, the Plush Horse? Those were my two favorite places to go when I would go up there to see my G-ma. Next time I am home, I am taking my wife and kids up to the Charlie Horse for some good food.

Yeah, the Horse was up by the mall. I miss going up there to Palos and Orland. I used to get a lot of wierd looks when I would go up there, though. I would either be wearing a Green Bay jacket or a Detroit Tigers ball cap. I don't think I was too popular...lol.

If I ever get back that way, I'll get in touch with ya. Would love to check your R out.
