a navan or type x spoiler mates up perfectly. the main difference is that the navan spoiler is a 3piece and the type x is a one piece.starkos14 wrote:THANKS GEO. everyone else ignored me... lol
its OBX's turbo back. fits up pretty well, i even have it attached to the exhaust bracket off of the transmission. although it could of lined up better at the rear. i am going to be back under the car in a few days and i am going to do some adjusting got it off ebay for a little over 200.turbo2nr wrote:nice zenki man, wonder where did you buy the exhaust form, looks nice form the pics. i need to buy a exhasut for my s14 also, i was wondering how does it fit on the car? and how does it sound? and how much did u pay?
thanks
I wonder if guys in Japan put Ka24's in their silvias, put pop-up headlights on them and call them 240sx's. that would be funnyd!ck wrote:i can call my car the effing starship enterprise if i wanted to. i might. nope too gay. anyways point being a car is what it is, you cant change it.
he can call it what he wants nobody is debating that. so stop your double posting and stop playing the righteous defender of public opinion.
well man actually maybe a year or two back, i saw this guy on super street with a pink silvia with a ka24de in japan!! wow so does that make his car a 240sx? or silvia? lol i mean tomato, tomatoes same s**t. i feel people need to relax and stop being so up tight about certain words. if the dude wants to call it that way then let him be! and if you have a problem then man just live with it wow!Zero260 wrote:

anyway, I think the car looks sweet, and it's a clean looking build. I personally think if it was designed to be a silvia, than given another name in america it's still an S14 to me
That pink car was a 240sx that Yashio Factory imported from the states. He did an sr swap into it. It is still a 240sx because the s13 and s14 were sold as the 240sx in the states.k00laid83 wrote:

Your car is a 240sx. It's a 240sx with an sr swap. My car is a 240sx with an s14 sr motor. It even has "Silvia" badges. But since it was made for the US market so it will always be a 240sx.
oh man that one made me laugh out loud...The point is made, its a 240. You can take off the front and put on a different one. then its a 240 with the front swapped. You can change the engine too...240 with front end swap and engine swap.SplitSecondConcepts240 wrote: if u wanna tango lets go
i will take a better pic tonight. basically its just a 1/2" hose attached to a crack case vent filter.Red coupe wrote:Nice! got Any pics of that whole set up?how does it determine when water is being sucked up VS. air? I know in rally cars they have a manually operated flap in the intake...
nope i am not sure and i am sorta wondering the same thing. its just sorta thrown together with junk that i had, but its better than nothing. if interested i will let you know what results i get when i test it.Red coupe wrote:yeah thats what I was kinda guessing...Are you sure that the 1/2 tube has adiquate flow to lower the the vacume levels at the filter low enough to not suck up some water? even with out hydro lock Im sure some nice cool water would do nasty nasty things to a hot turbine...
