My S15 powered S14 240SX 1/4 mile times

mmdb...the tach works just like it did with the KA in it. Its a NISSAN thing. I've seen lots of 'em do that. I luv the six-speed...close ratio, slickshifting, just a tad whiny because of straighter cut gears. I have'nt gotten my speedo or AC working yet because it aint making the car no faster. I'll work on that stuff later. I have the S15 cluster and ABS controller just no time right now. I would put up pics but somebody would have to do it for me. No webspace that I know how to use.

From what i read the speedo has to be hooked up to have the VTC working. It meant hooking up the signal from the diff to the abs ecu, to the speedo and then to ecu.

I'll look for the post that had something who wired up everything up correctly.

no matter what he got 1/4 mile the man deserves much respect. I bow down to you at this moment, but only untill i get my s15 clip aswell. Job Well done.

Thank god for Factory service manuals......The inputs required for VTC opreration are:

Intake air signal (From MAF Sensor)Engine Speed Signal (From Cam Pos Sensor)Engine coolant temp signal ( From ECT Sensor)Throttle Valve idle Position (From TPS)Gear position (From park/neutral pos switch)

Now you dont have to look it up because I already did. :pface

Signals definately go from sensor to ECU then to the cluster (ie. tach, speedo, etc.).....the ecu reads everything first then its sent elsewhere........
