Break in made simple:

Lots of accel and decel with no lugging. Lugging meaning to high if a gear going up hill. Basically drive it like you stole it and don't use synthetic for the first 500miles = WIN

Thanks for the link!

As far as the harness goes, were you able to use the connectors the greddy kit comes with or the stock KA ones? If not what style connectors do I need?

Thanks!

alrighty got everything hooked up now. Oil lines came in and got those hooked up, started the car and it LIVES!!!! let it circulate some oild around for about 5 minutes got the bubbles out of the coolant system, turned it off and checked the oil lines, turbo is getting oil, oil cooler is getting oil, oil filter is flowing and i drained the oil no shavings no burnt oil and no funny smells so now its time to get it tuned. Im letting the professionals at JE imports do there thing to it and soon it should be running real nice! ill be dropping it off today.

Warped cam shaft? I thought you got an AMS crate motor how did that happen? That will destroy a motor if you ran it, how did you catch the fact that it was warped before you ran the motor?

Or was it just.. retardedly bent to the point of breaking or something heh.

IT WAS run until the camshaft broke had to send the Whole damn engine back to AMS there taking care of it, It broke 2 valves when it went so new head has to go in, AMS is stripping the motor down hot tanking and reassembling the bottom end which they already inspected.

Brian Crower is replacing the Cams +10 Customer service Points for them!AMS is Repairing it No word on what that will cost.

OBX junk and the stock crank pulley, they work okay for now but the Crank had no timing marks on it. Really wanted a set of UR pulleys but couldnt find any around.

Ok the bish is up and Running! got about 300 Break in miles on it! its getting its first break-in oil change on friday!

Found out my bride seats where stupid Canadian knockoffs with Genuine Prices! So i sent them back asap!

Any way i checked the oil its is super clean and has no gas/coolant/errounous smells so im pretty excited about it!

Hands on testing: Pulls pretty damn hard with a little bit of boost (5.7psi till break-in is complete)

Just a few things that are different now

1. EGR removed and of course CEL came on im trying that resistor Trick for the EGR temp sensor and no luck.

2. Still running the Greddy Blue with all the accessories but now im getting the itch to go AEM EMS.

3. Put the 370cc injectors on till after i pass emissions. (will be tough with the CEL light)

4. Havent put the wheels on yet.

5. Got the oil Cooler running perfect now (No Bubbles in the system)

6. Getting ready to put the greddy radiator breather/swirl tank in.

7. Break in the Nismo 1.5 Way LSD (Figure 8's)

Still lots of stuff to do but at least shes running! will post pics when i get home from work!

Next list of stuff that has to go in:

HKS Turbo TimerAEM wideband UEGOAEM Boost GuageCusco Zero2 Coilovers w Pillow ball MountCusco Front and Rear Strut BarsCusco Front and Rear Antisway barsCusco Traction RodsGreddy Radiator BreatherReinstall the big injectorsPower Tune on Greddy E-managePut the New wheels on!
