I was contemplating getting the ATP cut out but also didn't like the T pipe, along with the fact that it's like $80 more than what I now have, and you can't control when it opens or not...there are some situations where I'd want to be full throttle but not having the valve open, so I opted for the electronic cut-out--that, and it has a lifetime warrantee.Craving4Boost wrote:i have the ATP cut out. i really hate the T pipe they give me..i like the Y pipe that qtp gives a lot better for your electric cut out. what size exhaust are you running when the cut out is closed? get some dynos on that
Rest of the exhaust is straight 2.5", a bit small for someone trying to make 300 whp, hence the reason for the cut-out-all of the benefits of zero restriction running just a downpipe...
Zeitronix ZT-2 ordered today, along with ATP thermal-wrap for the turbo's turbine:
Expensive stuff, but it's the real deal and will work unbelievably well, both at protecting everything from the high heat (wires, master cylinder, power steering reservoir, AC lines), as well as generating power by keeping all of the heat (energy--> quicker spool time and more power) where it should be, in the turbine. This is the same stuff they use for IRL cars...
Now I need to sell that Blitz R-VIT to make some money back!
